eBay supports selling bootlegs

I just went to ebay.com and at the top of "Today's Featured Collections" was one called "Bootlegs".

I notified eBay a week ago about someone with like 50 listings selling ROMs, and they have not removed a single listing, even though the person actually says in their ad that they are selling SNES,N64, roms, etc.  Super shady.

eBay only pretends to care about bootlegs... and only when a major publisher says something. I'm actually surprised that Nintendo hasn't taken a bigger interest in this, since a large number of the 3DS and DS games are bootlegs also.

He'll eventually get pulled, but what's even worse is the Chinese sellers. They never get booted because ebay doesn't enforce any overseas seller (since they sell in such large volumes and they will just make 20 more accounts using stealth). It's so bad on ebay these days that I wouldn't touch a gameboy, GBA, or DS game thinking it's real.
Also just think how much our postal system subsidizes those sellers to bring in all that fakes crap. As do you really think the shipping is 99 cents from China? I can't even mail across the street for that.

They make money off of anything that sells.

There's one guy who sold hundreds of burned Dreamcast games for months before they finally shut his auction.

Report it to Nintendo

If I can ever find time I'm going to write and publish a FF addon that will fire off an e-mail to Nintendo with one or two clicks. Either right-click the link in the search results and send e-mail, or send current page. I don't love Nintendo exactly, but as a collector I care about the value of my own legitimate cartridges.
