I'm looking for a good Retro-like controller to play games on various devices, such as the Retron 5, and PC (Sega Classics) and etc etc.

Either USB or BLUETOOTH....

I am really liking the look, and things I hear of the 8BITDO series and I am wondering how they hold up.

The ones I am currently most interested in are (in order)
8BitDo NES/FC30 PRO
http://innexinc.com/...oid-and-pc.html

The 8Bit SNES/FC30
http://innexinc.com/...controller.html

and the iBuffalo USB SNES/FC controller
https://www.amazon.c...ywords=ibuffalo

I've heard great things about all three, save for the last one feeling a little light and hollow...

So, any suggestions are welcome, and if you can suggest a Genesis/Saturn like USB controller that would also be welcome.

I've personally decided to not use OEM Controller to USB interfaces since they are known to induce input lag.

Even wireless causes some lag, as do those third party controllers. Not to mention these things can break more easily compared to something that stood the test of time. If you're serious about using a Sega Saturn controller, get an original one, and a USB one and swap the PCBs, keeping only the shoulder buttons.

I know all about how wireless can induce some lag, I was planning on using the wireless controllers via their USB port (like I do my PS4 controllers)

The iBuffalo felt really, really cheap. People claim they were made by an older Nintendo affiliate.. but it doesn't feel like it.

I decided to go with the NES/FC 30 PRO, they can be attached via USB, removing the wireless lag. The controllers feel very sturdy and well constructed and seem to work well with everything.. beyond the shitty as heck initialization process.

I have some old SNES controllers, but the buttons feels spongy after almost 30yrs... I've heard there are some repair kits but nothing make it feel like they did at purchase.

As for the Saturn, sounds like a damn good plan.. I just don't trust myself with a soldering iron...

Ive got the SFC30 from 8bitdo and it is great.

( I wrote a review on my site here) http://theretrocorne...ntroller-hands/

Ive used it on raspberry pi, my laptop, and my Retron 5.

For genesis/saturn there is a usb saturn pad on StoneageGamer. I have the Hyperkin genesis usb pad which is good, but I would have preferred the Saturn

I got the FC/NES Pro, and I cannot get it to sync right with my RetroPi, nor can I get it to work with correctly when it's wired..
They also seem small.

Does the SFC run/feel better and connect with little to no issue? (I prefer to keep it wired)

Also, your link didn't work...
