Best Buy has Doom on sale for $19.99 ($15.99 with GCU):

I know Gamestop has put it on sale several times for $19.99, but if you have GCU this is a great deal, the lowest I've seen it yet for the physical version.

Such a good game and a no brainer for fps fans at 15.99

Too much real life, not enough time for video games

Even if you don't have gcu it's the better deal since bestbuy points you get build up faster and you can use them on anything bestbuy sells which is more than just games.

No reason to shop lamestop.

Good game but after the many updates it was sitting around 70gb of data storage. I already have a 2tb ps4 pro.hopefully 4.50 ps4 update gets released soon so I can add 8tb external hard drive

Heads up, most of my local stores in the DC area aren't showing much (if any) stock for this game, but it's still available for shipping. Also Amazon matched the PS4 price, but the XB1 version is sold out from Amazon themselves.

It seems like BB is blowing out their remaining stock.

Walmart had it for $15 on BF (included a controller skin in the case too). Best deal lately, though

Darn it.  Got this for $19.99 a few weeks back at Gamestop using a PowerRewards coupon.  Waited and waited for BestBuy to finally have this deal but couldn't wait anymore when I found a Gamestop store that actually carried a sealed copy which is a rarity.

All I can say is that with BestBuy, it's best to get it while they have it since game titles have been known to disappear and never be restocked agan.

anyone know if the 3 dlc's for this are strictly multiplayer? or do they add stuff to single player as well?

I'm wondering this too, although I'm even if it's just MP, I'll probably buy it.

Best game I've played in a while, highly recommend. Especially at this price point.

The DLC is essentially for multiplayer.

Still a fantastic game though.

I've bought and traded this game several times but never got around to playing it. Picked it up again at this price so hopefully GameStop doesn't go and give $20+ again for it before I get to play!

Very tempted, but I feel like this might be a 9.99 game on the ps store eventually.  I have such a backlog of games... but I still might pull the trigger!

My backlog actually makes me sick and is standing about 50 games strong right now.....but I think I can swing $16 over to BB to try this game ;)

Wow. And I was complaining of like 10-11 game backlogs. Get in where you fit in!

Totally worth it, folks. Best single-player campaign for a shooter I've played in years. And the MP is surprisingly fun, too.

Really? Last time I counted mine is around 140 over a few systems as far back as gba. I am fairly sure I may not in the minority here also.

Good luck though. The longer you're here on cag the bigger and faster your backlog will grow

Best FPS campaign in recent memory. Ignore MP and it's still worth it

Plus there are tons of SP maps that can be played in snapmap mode, some great stuff beyond the SP campaign.

I have 60 games in the PS4 backlog alone, not including the free games.

I don't even want to count the PS3 games lol

It's probably just me,but this game gives me a headache. The combination of the bright red/orange color palette and the fast movement bother my eyes. Anyone else have this problem?

No kidding my dude. I have busy life so that small number definitely looks mountain like to me.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. This is a game that you can get off the backlog pretty quickly. I was playing a couple hours after work for a week and then played a few more hours on a Saturday and wound up finishing it. Definitely well worth it at this price.

And as far as I'm aware, all the DLC is for multiplayer. I get the feeling id software was a bit blindsided by just how well the campaign was received (and conversely, how quickly the MP seems to be forgotten) that in retrospect it feels a bit of a missed opportunity that none of the post-release content went towards adding some more single player goodness. Unless they're saving all their current ideas for the sequel, which I'm totally on board with if that's the case.

Solid game - and I don't play FPS games.  This seemed to me like an FPS game MADE for us non-FPS gamers.  Great game.  Haven't beaten the main campaign yet, but this is the only FPS game I've played multiple hours of (last one was Halo 4 and that's the only FPS game I've ever completed).

And you're not in the minority. I wish I only had 50 games in my backlog.

I don't even call it a backlog anymore.  It's just a collection :-)  I probably have a backlog now that stretches near or over 1000.

Interestingly enough, best buy sent my first one to the wrong address so I had a replacement shipped yesterday. The first one just showed up. Looks like I'm getting Doom for free.
