I think I want to start a war about whether PSN+ is worth the money.

I don't multiplayer and I only like the free games like 5% of the time but overall I think it's fairly decent value for the discounts alone if you buy quite a few games

I own a lot of games so that value is dropping and the price went up but it's prolly a safe gamble for another year or so

for me I wish they would drop free games and do more discounts or % off coupons or some shit

Gotta agree with you there. I play some of the big shooters online and some Rocket League. But most of these indie multiplayer only games are just blah and Sony can keep them.

They're not on sale often enough.

My membership recently expired and I didn't even know it, so I had to renew. They do have an offer right now where you get three extra months of Plus and like 6 months of Showtime.

the extra 3 months + the tradable showtime + the 15 back for spending a hundred was the way to go

Yeah; the last 2 years I got a great deal from CAG. Can't remember how much, but I didn't know I had expired until I went to use the cloud save feature. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.

there was a monday and tuesday, i believe, that the two promotions overlapped, but ps+ subs absolutely do count, i bought 2 years last year around this time and got the $15. also used psn cards that i got at a discount. the $10 for $7 card is a great way to get cheap ps+

hell, there is a thread right now for a year of playstation plus, $43.99

It's not free to play unfortunately so if you do want it ypu should download it when its free. Unfortunately I cant give you more than that. Stupid sony NDA and all that. But basically everything you know I know except prices on some dlc.

Edit: well hell, it says it on that site. 19.99 on release without plus.

Well that is definitely good to know for next time. I was having a hard to decide what to buy and end up not buying anything since there was only 1 game worth it for me to buy if I really wanted 15$back.

no, it was going to be f2p when it was first announced, then they decided to charge for it, then they decided to charge too much for it, then they gave up and apparently decided to give it away anyway.

They are on sale quite often. Saga/sauga gamers something I forget what it is has them on sale all the time. I grab one randomly from them once a year at 40 and just add it to my account. I dont even try and normally have like 14-16 months of psn+ on my account at 40 bucks a shot. Long as you dont wait till the last minute to re-up your account you never have to pay 60.

Probably has to do with the fact this for some reason is in the deals thread where it doesnt belong.

 
The Last of Us 2 will be the first sequel to the The Last of Us.

The Playstation 5 will be the successor to the Playstation 4.

PS+ will give you some decent games and some shitty games, but it is required for online play so:

1.  If you want to play online you have to get it, regardless of how shitty or not shitty the games are.

2.  Considering Sony is forcing people to get it for online play it makes sense they include a lot of MP games in it, no matter how shitty.  

3.  Rules are for those elites who go around reading and shit.  This is Trump's America now, fuck your rules and bureaucracy, we're Americans and we'll post where we want, what we want, and when we want to.

Buy a few games that can be traded for a profit to GameStop and use that credit to buy your "$60" PSplus subscription.
