Amazon honors errors. They might dick you around and try and increase the price, but you can complain at CS and get it corrected if it comes to that.

So, Amazon was fiddling on some orders with this error, and added a *third* Prime discount. Dropping the price down to free. Check your order, if it's free you should take a screenshot.

Doesn't say free for me. But my Prime trial ran out two days ago, so, that might be why.

 

Either way, I'm pretty happy with $30 for FFXII HD. Shame Squeenix has that collector's edition only on their store; I would've loved that set of judges.

Needing Prime at shipping is in the terms, but AFAIK they've never enforced that on anybody. They'd probably get a lot of returns and complaints if they tried to actually increase somebodies price.

They say it's restricted to one per customer. Since I only ordered one, should be ok? i still have a planned shipping date in July... amazon.ca order page does not say my order is cancelled.

I got that email too, my order is still there and fine.

 

Anybody ordering multiples should've expected something to happen, Prime discounts are limited to 1 copy of each game. The logical correction would've been for Amazon to leave extra orders, but charge full price for them. Simply cancelling the extra orders seems a bit nicer IMO.

Ouch. Perhaps Amazon's allocation didn't allow them enough copies to even send 1 to everybody then? If the game is made available again, contact them and bitch out a storm. I'm sure you can get a CSR to correct the price on an order, but there's nothing you can do if you can't even order it...
