Xbox one $15 controllers at walmart

Do these get updated for other stores?

Only one Walmart near me is showing the $15 price on Brickseek and out of stock.

other stores around are showing $59.99 with stock.

 
These were in the Walmart clearance thread for a few months now so don't get your hopes up. If you do get them, they have the 3.5mm headphone jack. Prices are not the same at all stores since Walmart clearance is YMMV but these were exclusive to them and didn't sell well.

I had a local walmart that was selling 10 I just got 2 then I tried to get the rest but they were gone..

If you check brickseek what was the price showing up at your store? Is the clearance specially marked? Or does brickseek show the actual price when they ring up

 
Every store near me that has it in stock has it at $60.  Every store that doesn't have it in stock lists $15 as the price.  I'm guessing someone cleaned them out.

No they're priced at $15 behind the glass and I checked on the Walmart app not brickseek , No clearance sticker ,They just ring up at $15 .

I bought one a week or so ago. Brickseek said 6, got there and found one hidden. Asked if they had anymore, "no sir we sold 6 of them an hour ago"

Accidentaly went to the wrong wal mart which had them listed as $37.97 but still rang up at $15.  So doesn't hurt to price check a store.  Employees there didn't even know about it.

 
Anyone know if I'd have a chance of being able to take one of these purchased at $15 to a store that still has them at full price and being able to exchange it for a different themed controller?

 
If you look it up using the UPC code provided by the OP, 47376063, the item that shows up is called the Xbox One Special Edition Armed Forces Wireless Controller being sold by a third-party seller, Centex Sales for $59.99. The only other similar controller that shows up at the Walmart site that is actually being sold by Walmart is the Xbox One Special Edition Covert Forces Wireless Controller, which is priced at a slight discount of $57.98 online. Is there any chance the latter would also ring up for $15 in store?

I think he meant return it with the receipt to get back the $60 at a store that have them on clearance for $15 but was OOS, and then come back a little later to buy the same controller for $15. Kinda' sneaky, but it may work.

 
Scored big time at a store nearby! If they say they're out, make sure you ask them to check the back.

My local store had one. Rang up $59.99. Told the employee I'd pass. Told him I thought it would ring up for $15. He proceeded to explain that it was a cordless controller not corded and tried to give a price is right introduction to the fucking thing. I wasted my time and struck out. Awesome for those that did score.
 
I ordered two for in-store pick-up. Brickseek said 5 in stock at $15. Walmart mobile app stated limited stock at $15. Online order went through last night, received pick-up confirmation email this morning. Went to walmart this evening to pick them up only to be told that it had been canceled and they had tried to "call me" to let me know the stock had been incorrect. This is the third time in a row this has happened for my in-store walmart pick-up order. What a joke!

Walmart deals like this are too heavily guarded now by people who flip for a living. Combine that with the fact that most Walmart store employees are clueless as to how to fully function as a bipedal mammal, and you get many people wasting their time on these deals like I did. Thanks for the heads up anyway, OP. It's nice to see that some people can score boxes of these.

These walmart deals are usually trash though. I can't pretend it wasn't a totally wasted trip to Wally World, because I did notice a 3rd party 2MB PS2 memory card for only $14.94 there! Snagged it before the bourgeois got ahold of it. And people bash Gamestop for jacking up prices of recently BC-enabled xbox 360 games, pssshhht.

I don't think that really works anymore except if you get lucky with a more-oblivious-than-normal walmart customer service employee. It worked several months ago, but now people just buy the item at the higher price, then try to use their credit card company price protection policy if/when the price goes down in a few weeks. I've been wrong before though. One time.

 
It showed 7 available at the nearest walmart, the other ones all said sold out within 5 miles or so. So I went there, none are on shelves or behind the glass. I looked in the clearance section and only saw 3rd party ones. Looked all over and nothing.

I finally asked a guy in the electronics section(about 50 yrs old, Cuban guy) and showed him the item on my phone with the brickseek page. He said, "Hey you know those are on sale, big sale!!! only $15, but they are long gone by now." I said the page shows 7, he said "ohhhh but I opened a box here and they flew, everybody came and took them right away" and I was like hmm but it says you have them in stock in the back. He said, "really?? I doubt it, people eat up those sales fast." I said, that's weird since it says you have some on here.

So he then said, "hey walk around a while and ill go look in the back as soon as the other employee(lady) gets here to give me a chance. So, I walked around 30-40 minutes and came back to find him stocking DVDs with 2 ladies. I asked if he had found anything, he said "what? what did you need? ohhh the controller?" and he told the ladies he had to go look.

I waited 10 minutes for him as he walked away to the back I guess. He came back with 2 in his hand smiling saying, "Look what I found for you" and rang two up for $32 with tax. So, I ended up with 2 of them for myself. 

This just shows, if you are not persistent and do not insist for them to look, they will brush you off and I think lots of people in this thread are socially awkward a little, scared to speak up and ask. If you don't ask, you will never get these deals. And you have to be nice, but pushy too to let them know you want it and know they have it.

Negative. If it shows full price on brickseek it rings up full price at store. I just tested this.

what he is asking is if he can to take the controller purchased at $15 and trade it for another $60 controller if his rings up at $60 there,, To answer the question, YMMV....try it.

I got lucky, the case and sign still said $65 But I took the box to a price scanner and it read as $15. Was gonna get 4 but they only had 1. Awesome Deal! Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure if it was posted as $15 I wouldn't have been so lucky.

Thanks. May give it a try and buy two $15 controllers if they still have any in stock. Even if it doesn't work, still a great price for extra controllers. Won't be able to make it until Saturday because of work, so I guess I'll see what bricksewk says then. The two closest stores have them at full price on brickseek and then the next store had 8 in stock at $15 when I posted the question.
