look like shit and play like shit

and all of them were purchased by me before the flash sale even started

Does anyone have feedback on Cel Damage HD's quality?

I can't speak to the quality of the remaster treatment, but have you played the original game? I had it back on the original Xbox and didn't care for it back then

If you enjoy rogue-like or rhythm games, take a chance on Crypt of the Necromancer for PS4. I already owned it before this sale, but I spent half an hour playing it this afternoon. It takes a while to get used to the pacing, but it's very fun. I'm a big fan of Spelunky, and the randomness is very similar.

That said, I will probably go for the Wipeout bundle and the Agarest War bundle for PS3. I'm nearly out of space on my PS4 and I'm still trying the games from the THQ Humble Bundle, so there isn't a lot that I absolutely need from the PS4 offerings. And I'd get Shiren for Vita, but I'll wait for a better sale.

Grabbed Guacamelee SCTE at $4.49. Beat it over a buddy's house last year, couldn't wait for it to dip under five bucks.

Has anyone compared the 1080p uprendering on ps2 classics for PS4 to pcsx2? I'm wondering which looks better, specifically for Dark Cloud 1 & 2, Wild Arms 3, and Siren.

For one. Pcsx2 doesn't have trophies. For two....don't be that guy and actually support games and devs.

I don't want to start a discussion about the legality of emulation, but it's a valid question when someone is considering a purchase of something that's already available in a "cheaper" way. I often skip buying PSP games on PSN since I own a Shield TV device now. I also don't have a bottomless pit of money with which to buy PSN credit, so I understand where he's coming from.

Valid points but most people who ask about emulation have never bought or owned the games at any point ever. He has though so therefore I see no problem with it. However as I said I know the majority of games people play on emulators they never once bought and paid for. If you have before then by all means emulate your heart out but if not find a way to obtain the game and play it in a legal manner and support the industry that brings us all so much enjoyment.

I get what you're saying. And I buy plenty of games. That's why I'm so broke now!

A little disappointed in the sale when compared to the EU Easter sale, but I did pick up Lego Harry Potter due to the price :) Hopefully others were able to find something they like!

According to psprices.com, this matches the previous low price for PS+ members during a sale last November.

Any thoughts on Dark Cloud 2? I feel like I shouldn't buy it until I'm done with Breath of the Wild.

Personally I was a big fan of Dark Cloud 2. I enjoyed it back on the PS2 and I enjoyed it on PS4. I haven't finished the PS4 version yet because I swore to myself to completely do the Spheda(golf) portions of the game as I went along and personally those were the only parts of the game that I disliked. I don't like golf and I really don't like Spheda. I ended up taking a break and then got distracted with about 20 other games so I haven't made my way back yet.

Other than that it is a great game. I recommend picking it up, especially at this price. A classic PS2 game with a fun story, great music, and nice cartoon-like visuals. Go for it!

Haha spheda was something else. I haven't played in many years but enjoyed it back then too. I've heard the controls haven't aged gracefully, or the city building mechanic, and i'm sure the same is for the photo invention system, but i'm sure it's still decent. Some people prefer the original Dark Cloud to the second.

Picked up Ape Escape 2 and Crypt of the NecroDancer ^^

Feel like Crypt will eventually be free with PS+ though.

I loved Spheda, but it could get pretty difficult on courses on platforms or lots of hazards. What I wasn't crazy about was fishing.

But overall it's a fantastic game, and I don't think I've heard of anyone who's played the game and not liked it.

Seconded. I quite enjoy it and like the soundtrack. Admittedly I think it's pretty unforgiving on the later levels but I enjoy games with a challenge so it doesn't stop me from playing it.

People don't seem to get that the point of rogue-likes is that you replay them over and over with the intent of trying to do better each time. When you get further than you did the last time, there's a sense of satisfaction. Crypt is one of those titles that can give you that kind of feeling when you have a really good run.

Can anyone share their opinions on the Dead Rising games. I'm tempted to get the first one as I've read it's the best with the rest offering more of the same with less likable characters but I don't know if that's accurate.

If you like fetch quests and escort missions, Dead Rising is for you. (Those are the worst gameplay tropes, IMO)

I'm looking at Bioshock Collection.

I've only ever finished Infinite and played a couple hours of the original. I do however have quite a few games to play.

Worth?
