BioShock Collection with a $10 RZ cert I just earned makes it $14+, perfect price point.

55" 8000 at $999 is still slightly above my price. If there was an open box in range I'd be all over it.

I had a $5 one and I agree, it's a great price. I've been eyeing that collection for awhile, makes me wish I didn't bust out the PS3 a year after the ps4 launched to play infinite and waited to play it on ps4.

Anyone know if the game plays well on the Pro?

So what's everyone's favorite 4K TV for hdr gaming? I'm leaning towards the Samsung KS8000. I'd love the LG oled, but that's way too expensive for my taste. Any thoughts?

I'd like to grab it also but I bet it will be part of the Game Pass thing. I think I'll wait to try it there.

I just got rid of it I hated it so bad. I really wanted a good snowboarding game, and it's like 10 percent fun snowboarding with jumps and tricks, 90 percent checkpoint races with damn near impossible times.

Game is a less than mediocre platformer that lacks all the charm from the previous games. Its not bad solely by Chibi Robo expectations and standards, its just a sub par game with some frustrating design choices on top for good measure. (aka the level roulette)

I just spent an hour dragging a boat up a mountain for a trophy. What have I become...

Now just play a really piece of shit game and then complain about it until (and well after) you get the plat.

the game came out before the pro, so no enhancements other than a few frame boost from boost mode.

Final Fantasy XV is the most disappointing game ever made.

I paid about that much for it awhile ago at Target, but I've yet to take the game out of it's shrink wrap and play it. I've heard it's a decent platformer though. I may actually make this my watch Monday Night RAW game tonight actually. I like playing games that don't require much thought process while I watch wrestling. I don't want to have to think during the 3 hours of WWE action Monday nights!

I am tempted to get Steep, but I really want to keep holding out for $20 or less. I want a good snowboarding game  though and Steep seems like a good time.

I've noticed that BB follows a pattern. 4-6 weeks after a new release, it's on sale for $49.99. Then, 2-3 weeks later, it's down to $39.99. Waiting for Nier to drop down to that price and then, a no-brainer purchase.

Everyone votes for the KS8000, basically. Unless something drastically changed in recent times, the OLED stuff has much higher input latency in HDR mode than the KS8000 sets do (and the same goes for anyone other than Samsung vs. Samsung).

Pretty sure the OLED LG set got a patch that lowered the input lag substantially.

I can't comment on the KS8000, but I will say that I have the LG OLED that is being referred to and love it, having no problems. Been playing Horizon in 4K HDR and it works and looks great. Maybe I just haven't seen 'the other side'

How do you think I feel?? I thought I was going to see some sweet Earl Grey or maybe Darjeeling action. Imagine my surprise when I pop it in and it's a snowboarding game!!

I bought a 55" KS8000 and it is fantastic for gaming. My biggest complaint has nothing to do with gaming, it is the somewhat odd remote and the sole button on the set for physically inputting any commands. I use an older Samsung smart remote for it the majority of the time.

Your logic is flawed, Nier was 39.99 last week bro...

He likely means 39.99 pre-GCU. I'd probably bite at that as well.

Also waiting patiently for Gravity rush 2, which has stubbornly yet to go on sale

Just want to say I couldn't recommend the ks8000 enough. Its an incredible tv; 4k HDR content looks marvelous. You'll have to customize the picture based on what you're watching (hint: native color tone for games, auto for watching tv), but once you get that figured out there's nothing I would complain about. The input latency is extremely low for a tv (20 ms).

if you want an SSX/Tony Hawk style game, you'll be somewhat disappointed.  If you want an open world snowboarding game that rewards exploration, it's really good.  the "story missions" are a bit odd, but usually in a good way.  once you do the opening tutorials, you can basically pick and choose what you want to do - and there's a pretty wide variety - it's definitely not just timed races.

edited to add: the mechanics are not the same as Skate but they are reminiscent in that it's not the quick button press to jump and do 37 tricks in the air, and is a bit more realistic.

So how does getting a price adjustment work when you use gift cards and rewards certs?

For example, I bought a TV that was on sale last week for $999, but I only paid $700 after taxes and everything because I used $450 in gift cards and $60 in reward certs. But now the TV is showing up on sale for $949. Would I be able to call and get that $50 back in savings, or would it not work since my final price was less than what the sale value is now?

They will issue the difference back on a gift card, if you don't have the card you used anymore they can just give you a new one.

So I am hearing they aren't sending BB ads to stores early anymore, I wonder if Tyrok can confirm that.
