New Wii U deals?

Hey guys, buddy of mine mentioned he wants his own Wii U (thought he was joking at first haha but he wasn't).

I assumed they would be cheap by now but it seems they still go for over $200 regularly. I have not been paying attention to this part of the market in a while, anywhere in particular I should check or has there been any really stellar deals on new consoles lately?

Finding in a new one may be impossible. From what I have heard, the big N recalled all the new consoles around October of last year. You may get lucky and find one at a walmart as some people have found them there.

Your best bet is Nintendo's store, https://store.nintendo.com/ng3/ and getting a refurbed unit. They are cheaper than gamestop. You could also buy from the nintendo store on ebay and get free shipping

Yeah I have noticed that no store carries Wiiu consoles except used. I'm glad I kept mine. I still play it.
Maybe you can check a random store like kmart if they still exist in your area. Other than that, your friend will probably have to buy a used one.
