Hope you guys do that more often, it was fun! I'm curious, what was the total for the donations?

Congratulations guys on #500!  My brother and I have been listening since #185 back in January 2010.  Thank you for the countless hours of entertainment and great times.  Keep up the great work.

I had no idea how sophisticated your podcast set up was until watching your live stream. Now I know why your audio sound so good all you, guys are talking directly into your mikes.

Please do more live streams with your podcasts, it's cool be able to watch you guys do the Podcasts oddly enough. I've been listening since 2010, and trust me this is way better than the blog talk shows you used to do on Black Friday.

Anyways great job on hitting 500 and here's to another 500!

Congrats on the 500!

Not sure when I started listening but it's been a few years. Always enjoy the show.

Also, Ship, way to rep the old school ska.

Congratulations on getting to 500! I've been listening for many years and don't think I've ever missed an episode...... even though I sometimes disagree with your guys' opinions, I thought godzilla was a good movie.

You're the only podcast I listen to and I'm not even a middle-aged man of the house. Congrats on 500!

Wombat's mic makes him look like Dr. Robotnik.

Wow!  I've been listening since CAGcast #18 and watching the video was a completely awesome experience.  I really hope you make this at least a semi-regular occurrence.  I've always thought of the CAGcast as being similar to the Howard Stern show and that also did well for years with Howard TV.  Video really adds something interesting and different.  Keep up the fantastic work

Congratulations for 500 shows...

I was hooked when you talked about Shitting your pant`s way back in the Day

Keep up the Great work..

Looking  forward to 500 more..

Ship, Godzilla is never in Godzilla movies all that much. While Godzilla's screen time is on the lower end for the 2014 version, it's definitely not the lowest. I'm just getting tired of that complaint for that movie.

That's true. I was disappointed in that movie for other reasons. All the advertising kept hyping Bryan Cranston was in it. He was red hot from Breaking Bad. He ended up barely being in it. The human parts were boring and not very good. Contrast this with Kong : Skull Island where I was genuinely interested in the human drama.

Congrats on number 500!

Judging by the way Wombat talked about Zelda on the show and on twitter, it actually sounds like he's just bad at the game. I hate making that terrible "get good" argument but the game really isn't that hard after you get past the beginning few hours.

The game basically has unlimited consumable usage during fights, so if you're really having trouble you can just forage for ingredients and cook stuff. Also, you should get better armor if you feel you're taking too much damage from physical attacks. Buying/finding new armor and then upgrading it can greatly increase your survivability.

Remember to use your skills often. Bombs are great for killing weaker enemies without wasting item durability. Stasis can make it much easier to dodge attacks or land extra hits.

Congratulations on getting to 500.

The clip from the first show was at the end was a nice touch.  I started listening in late 2007 or early 2008.

It literally has the lowest amount of Godzilla (compared to movie length) for all the Godzilla centric movies. I liked the movie but too many teases, Gareth Edwards tried to ape Spielberg's style from Jaws but I don't think Godzilla is the right franchise for this. If you go for that style, you have to nail the human drama/characters)

The list in the first post says 10 mins but the chart in the other post says 4 mins so I don't know why they're so different. And yes, if the chart is correct, it is the lowest but only by a minute.

It's so cool to be able to put faces to the voices I've heard on all 500 episodes. I couldn't get all the way through this episode immediately because I broke a couple ribs in an ATV accident this weekend and you guys make me laugh way too hard which makes the pain worse (bad for me, good for you guys). Here's to another 500!

Congrats on this milestone gentleman. I have been a longtime listener and member of the community and say a hearty congratulations on the 500th episode!

Great podcast as always. I've been listening since the beginning and can't get enough! :)

Check out Friday the 13th The Game of you get a chance. It's a great multiplayer game. Really nailed the game type.

Oh boy, that clip at the end of the first episode. Morning zoo sound effects and all. You've come a long way, folks.

Congrats on the 500th, here's to 500 more. It's great to see that at least one member of the show dressed for the occasion. Or at least half-way dressed.

I personally think you guys should have stuck to the show's old formula, those Army of Darkness sound effects add a real touch of class.

Really enjoyed this livestream and I feel like this should be the new standard going forward. For starters you can actually show off your sponsor's products like you did in this episode. It was cool to see how nice that Harry's Father's Day bundle looked. I can already imagine Cheapy showing a meal that was made using Hello Fresh etc. This could also be a good thing when showing off things that you guys have bought like the PS VR, unboxings, new games and other stuff. Of course you could always have the audio only option too for those that would just like to listen. Congrats on 500 and here's to  500 more!

Good show. I have been listening since 2006, I believe it was the 2nd or 3rd podcast I ever starting listening to after I found out about podcasts back then.

For a bit of nostalgia take a listen to the podcast circa 2005-2007. They were very lively. Cheapy mimics Howard Stern a bit. The audio quality is surprisingly very good. They were promoting the show and site more, were pumped about the Wii, Wombat trying to score free stuff, much more burping from cheapy, etc....

Obviously things change quite a bit in 12 years due to much more important responsibilities (children, mortgages, car loans, etc...) but the show has remained consistently good. Shipwreck was a welcome addition as he brought a more logical point of view to the show that meshes well.

It's been fun through ups and downs growing up along side these cats over the past 12 years via the podcast and am looking forward to the next 500!

Grats on the big 5. I caught a bit of the livestream, but since I was behind on CAGcasts at the time, I didn't watch the whole thing.

I first heard about CAG from ScrewAttack's Hard News way back in the day when Cheapy had a weekly guest segment. I remember seeing little baby Tai in a few of them. I didn't start listening to the CAGcast until 2011, though. I was needing a new podcast to start to fill time, remembered out of nowhere that CAG was a thing and they had a podcast, and went and got it. That was in Nov. 2011. I can remember that because the title was something like Happy Thankskyrimming and I thought it was a silly title. (Skyrim was still the hot new shit then.) I've listened to every episode since.

Good on Wombat for the Ray Romano joke for Utawarerumono. I don't know how common it is, but in circles I follow, "Underwater Ray Romano" is a common joke name used for that series.
