I took the gamestop app with that mass effect 3 page up to gamestop, showed the clerk, who punched something up on the register and the code, labelled as "xb3/xb1 mass effect 3 full game" printed up on the receipt. They have me2 as well, but was lacking the cash.
The lack of availability for Mass Effect 2 and 3 has been an issue of contention ever since multi-disc game started getting converted alongside backwards compatibility. Last time I brought it up, the consensus seemed to be that EA was holding them hostage to encourage people to subscribe to access. Praxus' post today is the first I've ever heard of them being available for purchase digitally, GameStop has a listing for both games via a physical download card but they are not available for purchase online. Clearly Praxus found one at retail? Their existence at all is actually a really big deal in terms of the games being available for purchase.
So after talking to a supervisor, and getting disconnected, and another bout with the chat guy, still no game. He tried some stuff only to tell me he's got the same issue himself with a Madden code. The problem is ongoing with redeeming codes since the 8th, and no word on when the problem will be fixed. Just wait and see...which isn't heartening since it's been going on for weeks apparently.
