Based upon a company refunded people their money for a program that was suspended is the reason you think it won't come back? You realize they HAD to refund these people their money, right? That is in no way an indication of the service not coming back.
I misread that to think they were talking about refunds to the people already using the service at the pilot locations. Forgot that others were able to sign up prior to the nationwide launch. Not sure if the pilot is continuing.
Regardless, if they are concerned about their computer system not being able to handle it, I still have my doubts as to whether they will continue it. If they need to upgrade their systems, that’s something that will cost millions to do.
Who knows? Maybe they will still do it eventually because they need something to help keep their doors open.
If it was a quick fix, they probably would be giving people a free game and letting them know the launch would be delayed instead of refunding. Just my opinion.
