lol the resident evil games are the worst for me

I've bought them all around 8 times and haven't even played a majority of them

whatever they put in the kid's meals and in the subliminal messages we absorbed as kids worked because 20 years+ later and I'm still shoveling money at the same things for no real reason other than hoarding

and now it's worse because it's digital hoarding which is like selling me unicorn magic over and over

For me it was rpgs. Final fantasy games were everything. You could play and grind on those games forever if you wanted. Now those long rpgs are the last thing I want to buy! Who has 100+ hours to play that shit?!

And yet I still want them! (Looking at you Witcher 3)

I'm with you. When I was a kid and could only get one game per couple of months they we're great. As an adult with a family I dread long RPGs. I still buy them all of course. Lol. My wife says I only play the game if huyung games now.

I bought the complete version of Dead Space. Re-playing right now. It’s worth it. All the new guns and suits are sweet. Forgot just how fantastic the gameplay is.

For anyone that has South Park, is it a lengthy rpg? Not to the level of Persona 5, but atleast 80+ hours to complete almost, if not everything? I ask because im trying to decide if I should finally play Horizon or jump into South Park after I finish The Evil Within 2.

I haven't finished it yet but a trophy guide I saw gave an estimate of 20-30 hours for the Platinum. That seems plenty long to me for the type of game it is.

Was thinking of picking this up, but it just came out today for iOS for $2.99. Always looking for some good games on the go so brought it there. Thought I’d give the heads up for those who are mobile gamers.

I apparently already own everything. Huh. But you're right, I just can't go back to the shittiness of the DualShock 3 at this point. I need to get my PC working again, where I also own them, so I can use a better controller. Increased resolution and FPS is a bonus, though when I tried to play DS1 a couple years ago, I couldn't get it to run without some major issues.

I love RPG's but between a full time job and a toddler and a wife who also plays games (which means if there's a game she wants to play I can't play it in front of her) it's really hard to get through them.  I'm still maybe only halfway through ME: A and I am kinda dreading it a bit because I only get to play about 2 hours at a time so it's hard to get in a rhythm.  Telltale games and other choice based games are easier because my wife likes to watch and I can make it through a good section each night.  Right now I'm playing Until Dawn, which is pretty good although I find myself wondering why I'm trying to save all these turd teenagers.

I just use my PS4 controller on the PS3, only had 1 game so far not support it. It's not perfect but as someone who has hated every PS controller until PS4 (which is probably my favorite controller ever) it's worth the annoyances.

I'm surprised you still have any time on your PS4 at all. After I get home I played with kids and by the time they go to sleep, I collapse on the bed, and have around 30 minutes Vita time. Vita is basically a gamer dad's savior. As you can see, going through YS MoC now, such a long JRPGS is only possible on Vita for me. *cough* Fuck you Trials Cold Steel 3 *cough*

Vita is definitely a gamer dad's savior... and remote play of PS4 games is a wonderful thing.

Yeah It seems like I do nothing but work lately and days off are used to catch up on stuff like laundry, grocery shopping ect.  I am making a little progress with ys moc myself.  got the forest 26.9% complete which means the game shouldn't take me more than 40 hours I guess assuming its required to beat the game.  I think I am just outside the 2nd town.  Would have been able to enter said town but I forgot to charge my vita.

Currently on the look out for a decent price on Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness.

Anyone played Subterrain and have any thoughts about it? It's been on my Steam wishlist for a long time. Seems interesting.

It's a very cool and unique game. Give the Steam demo a try. That was enough to sell me on it.

Made a video celebrating Shadow of the Colossus' 12th birthday:

Also put up some bonus videos of the early prototype of Shadow of the Colossus and the multiplayer version of it called Nico.

No witcher 3 season pass sale. I wonder if it will be there next week, but I doubt it.

Still waiting for re4/5/6 to hit the $5 mark on ps4.

Nothing on this sale is tempting me. Prices are still a bit high. There is a lot of good games that have come out this month that I want to get, but I just don't buy games on release anymore.

I'm tempted but I just can't justify buying all the shit to play 5 minutes and let it all collect dust

very tempted though

I thought it was a PSN gift card, but apparently it's credit for a VRV subscription. I tried to redeem mine via the VRV website and the code doesn't work anyway.

Got it too. Followed all the instructions and it tells me that there's "a problem with my giftcard."
