yea I was playing a lot of lone wolf, but it seemed like most of the people on my team were not doing much so I was trying like crazy to capture flags (which is where most of my kills came from, especially on that last map we played together as people were camping all over the place with sniper rifles and deserved a little bit of shotgun to the back). I try not to spawn kill, but when people impede my flag progress by mining the flag or by some other means they are fair game IMO. I also try not to attack the protected opponents base as I think that is wrong (unless you are sabotaging other commander)l
 
I got a chance to play with the upgraded shot gun for anti tank after someone saved my life and man is it nice. Has 12 rounds and rounds fire extremely quick.

cool and I would understand you getting them for mining the flag , most of the time I was defending cause every one decides to go attack and dont realize the enemy is comming up behind them to steal the base away . So I end up getting killed by 2 or 3 guys trying to defend . I love being the attacker but there has to be some defense also .
 
Good times tonite, guys...had fun being introduced to the CAG crew.

We had a great comeback on Oman (trailing, like, 100 to 20 and coming back to win). Teamwork was gellin', and people were TALKING which helped alot (I need to get a headset).

Anyways, looking forward to future bf2 nites.

Nice games tonight guys. I love that Karkand map. It's so Black Hawk Down.

Got some time in the pilot's seat of the chopper which was nice. Hopefully I get some stats updated at least. Everything's a bloody zero. Or do stats only update for ranked? I don't care about the points anymore. They don't register. I just want to see how I'm doing.

Sadly, stats only update on ranked servers.
 
yea had a hell of a good time . steve you got some great copter skills , very precise landing also. kakrand was insane . freakin enemies all over the plus . Did anyone on my squad get to hear me on the mic I dunno if it was working. I know steves was comming out lout and clear.
 
Great games last night guys. When we had 28 people on a 16 player map on Karkand...man, I felt bad for the guys who left.

Shit, it was awesome...best game of BF2 I've ever played.

Ok, everyone... I've registered the clan at http://bf2tracker.com and everyone please register and at the bottom select "CheapAssGamerClan" as your clan. The clan password is "domino".

For everyone wondering where I got domino from, did anyone notice that our server name is "cheaphodomino"?

This way though, I can see what everyone is good at and start placing accordingly. As well as start setting up some clan matches.
 
I think I may have accidentally banned "Technique".

It was like 1am and he was screwin around and TKed me like 3-4 times. I forgave everytime, but accidentally didnt forgive the last time and he was kick / banned. We'll get him fixed up soon...

But also, I like you man, you're pretty badass, but...try not to be too retarded when other people other than the clan is there. It makes the server look bad, and the server is just getting up.

I dont mind everyone fooling around when its just us, and kick/bans are easy to fix...but last night over 10 were on the server that weren't CAG.... and thats 10 more than usual. I really would love them to come back.

People who play the most. lol. The same 8 people play every clan gather just about.

Depends on how many players the clan match is set for, as well as what Casey, Choy, and Steve think. Those guys would be my first 3 and my consultants on the next however many.
 
mooky...when I register and try to look up my BF2 ID, it doesn't show up, so I can't add the clan to my list. Then again, there's nothing to track since none of my ranked games have registered so far.

Just to remind you and to let everyone else know, I'm gonna be out of the hemisphere after the 4th of July and won't be back until the middle of August. Sorry guys. Hopefully you'll all still be playing 'till then. And just when I'm starting to get into the game, too.

I can do one of two things. I can either make the server a 16 man server which will make all the maps have a smaller area (good idea), or I can leave the server set for 32 and make all the maps 16 player sized (bad idea). I will see Mooky later today and will have a chance to punch him in the face... errr ask him what he prefers, but what does everybody else think about the 2 choices?

I'll wear my Dr. Doom mask....

I actually like the bad idea more...but I'm just basing that off of the fact that the most people we had on the server was last night, when we had a 16 player map and 28 people on the map. Once it changed, we went down to 10 people in seconds.

I dont know... It's Choy's and Chachi's server... so what they decide on goes... but I say we leave it on 32 people can join but have some 16 people maps in rotation and see what maps gets populated more.

I see the clan info site (http://bf2tracker.com/bf2_clanprofile.php?clanid=553), but I don't see how to add myself in there...My name on bf2tracker.com is "{CAG}Mongol".
 
My name doesn't use up on there either.

The Karkand map was awesome with the number of people we had and the size of the map. The dam one was pretty dull though. We just kept hopping flags back and forth and I was lucky to see anyone else running around on the map. Then again, I was in a chopper the whole time.

register yourself and then after that go to your user CP. In the third box down and to the right, there is where you enter in your info to join the clan. It also is where you link your stats to your account

Thanks a lot man! Ack, the "my favorite map" is misleading, it's just my most played map...and I'm sick of it (along with most of the Chinese maps)! The city MEC one's (even the Dam, if there's enough people) are way more fun to me...
 
Mooky, I still don't have BF2. I'm going to try and pick it up within the next week or so, and then I'll make the {CAG} tag on my name. You might want to put me on hold for clan matches and such. If anybody wants to play the demo, I'm SamuraiFez.

when you hit the button find name then a little window will pop up. in there you search for your name , after the there is gonna be a drop down menu right under the name you just typed . Go into the drop down menu and pick ur name .

You should see a whole bunch of numbers on the name field. that should solve your problem . I wasnt able to register for a while until I figured it out .

Actually, I think a server set for 32 on maps for 16 would be a good idea (or at least a good experiment). That would allow sides to designate attack and defend teams, instead of a giant attacking blob of units bouncing from one flag to another.

yea but at the rate you are tearing things up, you are probably going to be the first one there:D


Also, do not unlock the anti-tank weapon. It freaking sucks hardcore. Shoots fast, but reload is forever and the accuracy is so bad that getting one kill with 12 shots means you got lucky.

Hopefully I can get another weapon upgrade soon and get an upgraded shotgun for my engineer class
 
Alright, here's the story. I don't know if I'm going to make very many of the scheduled games. Starting tomorrow, I'm working the overnight at Shopko, which starts at the same time as most of the scheduled games. So at least for the next 2 months (until I go back to school), I won't be too dependable, unfortunately.

Have you registered your copy of the game with EA via the included registration template thingy?

A friend of mine forgot to do this, and when his scores didn't register until he actually registered battlefield 2 thru EA.

Might give it a shot.
