Was hoping the airs would at least see a larger discount. Don't know if I feel like spending $1500 on a pro.

dead @ "Jets expected to win one game. Fans excited." Reminds me of this super sunshiner fan on another forum I post on. Every single year he predicts the Jets to make a leap and shock the world. Other posters call him a delusional moron and he calls them all haters. Predictably, eventually he crawls into a hole by Week 3 and isn't heard from again until the next season is about to begin.

$625 off that fully loaded 12" Macbook actually makes it a fair price. You can probably find third party USBC hubs for cheap now too. Wonder if movers coupon is still  a thing.

But those imac prices are terrible. Have a 2012 one and considering upgrading and see that even after "saving" $625, its still $1700 for a computer with a spinning HDD and just 8GB of ram lol.

after $625 they have one for $1175 and one with Fusion drive for $1375.  i was thinking the same thing though while I was in the store yesterday.  they could give me the 2 things I have in my 2012 Mini for my $1800.  SSD and 16gb ram.

Generally, looking at 55 to 65" 4K UHD TVs with HDR, is Sony or Samsung considered the better LED for gaming?

research input lag for whatever tv models your looking at. Typically you want 40ms or lower for ideal gaming. Really only important if you play competitive gaming.

Buy something then return it so you can get cert back, dont just let it expire

You will have excuse Six Min Whistle for missing your post about the Movie Pass. He has been very, very concerned about Conan's penis lately.

Experts are saying that with how fast the industry is moving and new standards being added year over year, if you're spending Sony/Samsung LCD money ($1500-3000) you are far better off getting an OLED. Picture quality of $600-1000 TCL and Vizio TVs have really caught up to Sony and Samsung picture quality-wise, having full features like both HDR types and 70-120 zone backlights, and often even better TV app stores like Roku built in. 85-90% of the picture quality at 40-50% of the price.

Didn't know they'd actually return the cert for you. Do you know how long it's good for then?

Either way, good advice. Thanks!

I think you just get all the points back into your bestbuy account. Takes like 3-5 business days I believe.

Thanks for the info.  I was just checking out one of those new TCL roku tvs and I was really impressed.  Can't believe the picture for that price.

Just for some historical context if anyone has any, is the XBox with controller/mic/Lego Batman movie not a pretty good deal right now?  I was thinking of picking one up, but it seems that no one is too excited about it on here.

its a good retail deal. Most people have already picked up a system. System sales have slowed down and new xb1x launches in a few months. But if you are looking to pick one up i would bite at this.

Is the new XBox One really going to be worth it?  I actually had the XBOne until last year and sold it.  I'm interested again now because of Madden.

I would say no considering no new games and price. I think this whole generation failed. Not trying to start race wars just my personal thoughts. I started with og xbox, then 360(ps3 had problems with games not running right) then xb1. but this generation flipped Ps4 plays everything better and way better game selection. Ive personally owned multiple xb1's even have two right now, i play xbox 360 games on it like black ops 1 and 2, which sucks because of crappy servers ,hackers. Then people bring up it playing uhds but im a gamer i dont use consoles for playing movies or netflix  it just limits the life of console and disc drive. But all that being said xb1' deal going would be my choice then waiting months and paying more then double the price

you trying to start something...

joking aside, the ps3 was fine other than YLOD which was the equivalent of RROD for the 360. there was one bad port done by sega (aka bayonetta), that's about it i think.
