Agreed. Great improvement on the FAQ! You did not cross the line on sharing exploitable info either imo. It gives CAGs just enough to share and find deals on their own.
Hopefully this helps gamestop discussion in main forum become somewhat normalized like our other threads on cag.

I don't generally pay attention to GS sales/deals. Are there generally any normal [ie, seasonal/whatever] deals on used 3DSs? Or can I just buy one whenever. IE, should I wait to Black Friday or the holidays or spring for some 'buy a used 3ds, get 1 used game free' [or whatever] deal?
well they typically have two types of deals for used 3dses
one is the one theyre having right now, where used 3dses only get a price drop. theyre currently 20 dollars off for 3ds systems. 2ds systems are not on sale right now though.
second is the type i took advantage of in july. when they do "buy two pre-owned products get one (of equal or lesser value) free" it counts the 3ds as a product. 3DS+38$ pre-owned game=38$ or less pre-owned game free. Or if you want to get your moneys worth use the deal with a ps4 game or something so you save 55 bucks instead of 38.
Its up to you if you want to take advantage of the current deal or wait for the B2G1, but regardless, i highly recommend the "new 3DS" line. not just because of the upgrade, but because the classic 3ds line is old and those pre-owned units have probably been sitting in there for a while, not getting a charge or being turned on in who knows how long. going too long without playing it or charging the battery will reduce the amount it will hold in a charge when someone does start using it again. the "new 3ds" line systems were made recently enough that this shouldn't be an issue at all. and even if it were, i think that the new 3ds line actually has removable batteries as a feature.

They're typically 169 at GS.Is 109 a good price for a used 3DS XL? I have been wanting either a 2DS XL or 3DS XL and I have like 180 GS credit but I don't know if that is a decent price from this week's ad deal.
Edit: I was confused and posting about New 3DS XL, not the old school type.

When discounts stack they only stack 2 ways - linear or cascading.
If you're looking at 2 Xb1 games the difference between the 2 methods results in a savings of $2 on every $100 of base price.
If you're looking at 3 Xb1 games the difference between the 2 methods results in a savings of $3 on every $100 of base price.
Worrying about how the deals stack means you're big concern is a 2% - 3% savings.
If GS wants to maximize their profit and screw you over they'll do linear stacking for trade ins and cascading for purchases. 2% - 3% matters on millions of dollars not a hundred dollars.

Not with a hold they won't. If you have cool employees they may adjust the price down to match, but YMMV on that.

Shame the TIV on 3DS family is so low. I’d even happily overpay for that Black Friday black small new 3DS at $140 were a new XL to get $100 instead of $60.
I almost never bring my XL anywhere because it’s so heavy and huge. Find it even more of a PITA to carry around than the switch.

Buy multiple copies so u get the chance to compare discs and keep the best copy and return the rest; use FREESHIPPING or SAVER as the codethe lack of free shipping ruins the 8.39 Uncharted 4 deal.
You basically have to add 6 bucks to that... and 15 bucks seems about what it's worth pre-owned right now.

b2g1 makes a lot of sense, especially if I get two recent PS4 games. i guess the last one was during flippageddon? So i might have to wait awhile.
$20 off right now isn't bad either, but i was kind of thinking I want a New 2ds, and those aren't even for sale used yet. Hrm.

Just did a purchase with 3 games. Here are the numbers. Maybe you can make sense how it stacked.
Gears of war 4: 14.99
Disc -4.50 promo
Disc -1.5 power up 10%
Total 9.44
Hm pur is not working online when I put in 3 xbox one games, happening to anyone else?
Yeah, it's definitely not stacking the 30% and the 10% on the website. Interesting that it's adding that extra 10% in the store, though... I doubt they intended that to happen
