I'm guessing Newegg bought the last off Madcatz stock. Here's your chance to grab the last few that are available 100+ TES+ in stock and 129 TE2+ left in stock!

I personally recommend the TE2+ if you easily want to swap out the artwork, the access to the buttons and stick and also be easily be swapped out!

I own both the Hori RAP4 and Madcatz TE2+, the Hori Hayabusa lever feels a bit loose. I also do prefer the Sanwa buttons over Hori buttons that feel a bit mushy.

Meh Have the TE2 and a few others if you really want a stick I would recommend Qanba http://qanbausa.com/ the have a head phone jack and actual support if you need it. Plus these are retail day 1 prices on sticks that have been out a while now :/

While good sticks, yeah I can't recommend it. Qanba has come up in a big way, along with Razer. Buttons are around $4 each if that to swap out. I've got a RAP4 Silent and like them myself, although I put in new gate and spring.

Qanba Obsidian: https://arcadeshock....-ps3-pc-x-input

Arcade Shock has 15% off almost everything, that Qanba Obisdian is 10% off at $180.

TE2+ and TES+ actually has good input lag according to teyah. Not sure how the qanba compares.

The sticks being offered at retail price isn't a deal. Furthermore, those sticks have issues with their pcbs failing and MadCatz isn't around any longer to offer warranty support. Anyone looking for a fight stick with a budget of $200-250 is better off getting a Razer Panthera.

Ditto, if you are looking for a deal on these. This is not one.

Guess your not a collector that Hori default artwork is fugly. The TE2 artwork can be easily be modified. Sure beats the parts/not working and used eBay prices

I see the links provided notes that a free copy of Tekken7 is included with the purchase now!

unfortunately not, i buy things to use not to take to the grave.  i have a modded hrap3, changing the artwork is simple with the purchase of a thin plexi glass to put on top of it.

Agreed that retail isn't a deal, but I though the PCB problems were only with the first generation arcade sticks. Have you heard of problems with the more recent ones?

I own a couple of these (original TE and TE round 2) and I've never had a problem with them. Changing out parts is a piece of cake, if you are so inclined.

Why is the TE2 being sold at $249?

I had bought the limited edition TE2 Ken Stick for $200 at the time.

If your plan is to customize the TE2, a parts/not working stick can be a better deal. If you're going to be replacing the stick & buttons to match your custom artwork, might as well buy a gutted case. Unfortunately, even gutted TE2s go for over $100+ on eBay. Even though the PCB quality is trash, those cases kick ass.

I bought a new TES+ at the end of last year that developed PCB issues (buttons registering as always on or off) after about one month of solid use. I can't say which manufacturing batch my stick originated from, but it's a safe bet flaky MadCatz sticks are still sitting in old new stock.

It's a shame Newegg isn't selling these off at 50% off. I'd gladly roll the dice on a bad pcb & no warranty for that price.

These are good sticks but have many, many known problems and more than a few straight from the factory issues. If you're going to drop $250 on cheap plastic that's no longer supported by anyone you should go buy something like this instead for a few bucks more: http://www.jasenscus...r-fight-stick-3 Put 15 minutes of effort in to something that's plug and play, far higher quality, and works on nearly any system.

Oh and Newegg has also bumped the prices of these up like $75-100 from what they were selling them for before Madcatz went under.
