Thanks OP! My boy may actually pass out when he hears about charizard.

I see no shame in it. I like pokemon myself but just lack the time to play it.

Honesty is the best policy. I walk up to the counter and just start crying. Then they just hand you a stack. That's how I get the pkmn code cards from a gamestop.
 
i thought $150 was the 'normal' price for a New 2DS XL?  I mean, I've been checking amazon and gs for awhile now, and that seems to be the price it always is.

I always just walk up and say the name of the pokemon with a quizzical tone.  This is usually met with "How many do you need?" and then being handed twice what I asked for.
