My in-laws had an Amazon delivery come to their house, addressed to my father-in-law, but nobody ordered any of that stuff and it doesn't show in anyone's order history or credit card statements.

How on earth does that even happen? Is there some sort of scam associated with this kind of thing where people send stuff to your house with stolen credit cards? We are all flustered at the situation.

My brother gotten one of those before too.

It was just filled with a bunch of Funk Pops.

He had no idea where it came from, and couldn't figure out even to this day.

Nobody they knew ever claimed it as their present to them.

I think you're fine, so no worries on anything else other than it's very strange, and chalk it up to some sort of wrong address type of ordeal, maybe possibly.  Who knows? ;D

Thanks. We called Amazon up and despite our insistence on trying to trace where this order came from, they either couldn't, or wouldn't bother looking it up. The only thing the CSR really said was to either dispose of the stuff or keep it. There was also no packing slips to speak of so we can't even try referencing an order number.

Yeah, Amazon doesn't include packing slips anymore for some reason. Guess they don't like wasting paper?

I'm curious, what was in the package if you don't mind saying?

The cost of managing that and printing it for all orders likely exceeds the few cases where it would help.

I think there is a way to remove orders from your history, so I would double check credit cards or search harder in order history to make sure it wasn't some hacked account scam.

What was in the package? Was it something too embarrassing to admit to ordering?
I didn't catch a full inventory of the stuff since they live on the other end of the state and I only heard about it from my wife. It was some children's clothing and shoes. I also think there was a Nintendo Switch accessory too.

Subscribe and save maybe or a drunk order. Check bank statements and the mystery will reveal itself.

Staples once shipped a single expo marker to my dad out of nowhere. The market itself had no packaging but was wrapped in plastic bag that you would put fruit in at the grocery store or something and put in a box. He watched his credit cards thinking it was a scam but nothing every came of it.
