Is this deal Prorated and split prices like Targets B2G1 where you can just return 1 game and keep the rest? Not sure if I want 2 games....

Are you saying we can get the 40% off on the more expensive game if we go online? Or does this only work in the exact situation you described in your post?

You need to add a game with a price drop ( was $59.99 and now is $19.99) first, then add the new game ($59.99) or pre-order and the website takes 40% from the second game.

 
Awesome. I just came back from toys r us and purchased mario odyssey & splatoon.

Im gonna go ahead and try diff combos of games. To get a better deal before i decide to open the games i just picked up.

Mclarry is exactly right on this. Just tested Lego Star Wars TFA and Assassin's Creed Origins and it brought ACO down to 35.99.
 
Wait is this deal going on in store so you can get 40% off the higher priced game also?

Heads up there's a $25 gift card offer for $100 of purchases or more at TRU. It's valid until 11/4/2017. Saw this on RetailMeNot worth a try to see if it stacks

So can we preorder the 1st game, receive a discount on the 2nd game, and then cancel the preorder for the 1st and still have the discount applied?
 
SImilar to Djidin's question, has anyone tried getting the $20 game and then $60 marked down to $35 and then return the $20 game? It'd be pretty nice to get a brand new release for $35.

 
For those wondering the prices of both games will receive a discount. I ordered a $20 game and $60 game with the intention of returning the $20 game since both have the same discount applied. 

$20+$60(40% off) = $56

$20(30% off) + $60(30% off) = $56

$42 for a $60 switch game isn't bad. So not as great of a deal, but still the best price for $60 switch games like Mario, Zelda or Splatoon 2 that I've seen recently.

I ordered 2 games, but they never arrived, and it is not mentioned in my past orders in my account on their webstie. They must have cancelled it, though it's strange they didn't notify me of the cancellation.

Any chance you ordered it on mobile? I had one order months back that didn't show up because it had an order # that began with a 6 instead of a 3 and I couldn't find it linked to my account. I think I ended up finding it on the order # lookup where you enter the order # and zip code.

This was ordered during the glitch. I received a confirmation email, but neither a shipping nor cancellation notice. There's no way to look up the order by entering the order number. I do not get that option.
