THIS DEAL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. I SIMPLY UNLOCKED THIS OLD THREAD AS WAS PLANNED ONCE THE EMAILS STARTED COMING OUT.

Best Buy has a promo running where you get a $10 savings code for each $10 or more order you place with in store pickup (maximum three total transactions).

Promo Link

The orders need to be $10 or more pretax and so ideally to maximize gains you can get $10 eShop or PSN cards (cannot find physical $10 XBL card correct me if I'm wrong). With a maximum of three orders just place 3x single $10 card orders and then we all should get the credits in January and can essentially buy $30 more credit making it $60 credit for $30.

I am sure there are other good ways to use this promo but this seems ideal for most here!

Fine Print:

*Offer valid 12/3/17–12/16/17 on BestBuy.com orders with Store Pickup items totaling $10 or more (before taxes and shipping costs). Limit of 3 qualified transactions (limit of $30 in savings codes) during the promotional period. Limit 1 savings code per customer per transaction. Valid e-mail address must be provided when ordering to receive savings code. Savings code(s) will be e-mailed starting on 1/14/18 and are valid through 2/3/18. Savings code(s) may be redeemed online or in store. Not valid if your order is canceled, your item(s) are returned, or on item(s) that are not available for Store Pickup. Products from the following brands are excluded from this Store Pickup offer: Bose®, Boston Acoustics, Breville, Electrolux, Google, Leap, Sonos, and Wacom. In addition, select televisions, sound bars and Blu-ray players from Samsung, Sony and LG, the Dyson Supersonic, select projectors, select Beats by Dr. Dre, and select headphones and portable speakers by Sony are excluded from the offer.

be careful suggesting google play gift cards for this promo. if you have to follow up with BB to get your promo credit, the customer service rep has good reason to deny it.

So for those of us that made 1 or more transactions last night with that glitch, we should be good correct?
Says with valid purchase between 12/3/17–12/16/17 so I would guess yeah so long as it was 12/03 in your time zone but who knows for sure.

Why is that?

so we just place 3 $10+ orders and we're good and automatically get the savings code later? kinda vague doesn't say if we need to enter a code or from a page.

Ah good catch! I will remove the Google Play cards from the OP I didn't notice that thanks!

Ship to Store

If the item you're interested in is out of stock at your local Best Buy store, but is available online, Ship to Store can get it there — with free shipping. Excludes music, DVDs, VIDEO GAMES and other select items.”

Just an FYI. This was taken from their promo page. The games have to be in-stock at the store. Ship to store excludes video games in this deal.

Xbox gift cards ARE included, but they only have 15 dollar ones as the cheapest. Windows store cards are also there too.

At least that’s what I saw. Looked like the store pickup was showing available for them, unlike a bunch of others.

(Edit: had mentioned ebay gift cards to buy Best. It cards through PayPal digital sales ebay store but then noticed ebay cards aren’t available for store pickup)

I love that Wacom is excluded, gotta keep those prices high to screw us poor/college level artists over.

But thanks OP, gonna get some E-Shop credit, 3 will be enough to put me in the range of a $40 game, and I'll use the Savings Code on the swarm of shit that comes out in January.

How long do you have to pick up after ordering? Closest BB is an hour away but I head that direction occasionally. I could plan on a trip this weekend.

Ordered 2x $10 PSN cards and ordered battlefront 2 last night . $44 out of pocket for a game and $20 in credit with $30 back. Hell of a deal.

Huh. Well that's interesting. Are we not allowed to use gift cards to buy eshop cards? I was totally going to use that $15 promo credit from that $150 gift card thing, but I don't see a place to add gift cards during checkout (specifically for a $20 eshop card, though I don't see why that should matter).

Could be a security reason. Avoid use GC's to pay for GC's from a money laundering stand point. It's common for some places to not let you do this. If the $15 is a promo code like a Best Buy redeemed points those are treated different and should be usable. If it was a digital or physical GC it may not be showing for you to enter due to your purchase being a $$ value card.

The offer is for store pickup in general, not specifically Ship to Store. Video games are fair game.

Was thinking of doing this with player unknown battlegrounds.  Wonder if it works on preorders.  Or I could just wait until the 12th when it comes out.  Its still in the window of the promotion.

I bought 2 $10 psn cards and paid with gift cards.

Yeah I am over $100 stocked on each Xbox, PSN and eShop for the early 2018 wave of games!

Also in terms of Wacom your best bet is to just stalk eBay for a 21UX-DTK model. They go for quite cheap and you can easily haggle on such old tech. That model I feel is the best on a budget. I use a 27qhd at work and come home to a 21ux dtk for personal stuff and do not skip a beat!

10$PSN card out in my area..ahhhh, whatever bought 3x 20$ PSN cards instead. I'll just wait till I get the credit before I add them to account.

I actually already have a Mobile Studio Pro 16 Inch that I lucked out and got thanks to an overflow of scholarship/grant money, but I have been interested in getting a stationary model in the 21-27 inch range as well in the near future. I just thought it was hilarious they were one of the few brands excluded for a $10 coupon deal.

I ended up buying three games with the $24 glitch earlier for in-store pickup, without knowing about this promo. I'm kinda lukewarm about the games, but I guess this means I have to keep them since it would come out to $14 each...

Meh.

PSN sales have been dogcrap as of late.  Don't wanna invest more money into that.  Nothing else that's $10 that I want... might take a look though.

What a weird promo. So this morning I ordered and picked up A Few Good Men in 4K. I used a $15 certificate which means I paid just over $10 to cover the rest plus tax. Sounds like I might get a $10 cert back?

Edit: wow nevermind. Looks like I missed it by a penny since tax doesn't count.

I got two orders in, but the third keeps getting canceled. And it's something I already ordered once - I got one eshop card and a PSN card, but the second PSN card order always gets canceled after it goes through.

Would Best Buy gift cards work with this promo? I couldn’t find the answer in the OP or fine print.

So do we have to place each order separately or could we order it in one go?

If you think post-graduation artists aren't going to be poor, something something bridge something.
Thats why the smart ones focus in other creative fields and do character art and stuff like that on the side. Also making friends with people who are already in the field and getting good references is a nice way to get your resume/portfolio pushed to the top of the stack.

The ones who end up at Starbucks are the ones who refuse to adapt or learn skills that are needed by almost every business/company. (Which almost always seems to be the Character/Gaming related artists). Also the whole rampant introverted/shyness thing doesnt help the community as a whole as far as networking goes.

Needs to be separate orders.

Well said hah yeah I make a good living as an artist. There is such a stigma of the starving artist but those are the super artsy fartsy ones who act like they will die if they do work for a big company. Art is just another marketable skill like anything else and if you are good at it and aren’t stupid you can be very successful especially in today’s current climate with such an emphasis on entertainment.

Yo, a few 15 games on Black Friday are 16 with GCU, Wolfenstein Double pack, Dishonored death of the outsider, Bioshock collection. Time to rebuy and return  :bouncy:

Reordered Bioshock and Dishonored, it was a penny cheaper with the $1 off store pick up, lol. Still have them shrink wrap so return them tomorrow and pick them up again.

Great idea, I just picked up 3 $15 MS cards (lowest denomination available for in-store pickup). 3 orders of course so it looks like I’ll have about $75 to spend toward digital games next year or later on.

Does this actually tell you that you're eligible for the $10 code before completing transaction?
Nope.

I think they're onto us. After my initial $10 PSN card, all other similar order are being canceled. I even tried buying a $20 PSN card and that was also canceled.
