Anyone know why they re-made the GU series, and not the original 4 .hack games? I thought the original 4 were more popular/better?

That's the general consensus. No clue why these were localized instead, but maybe we'll get the originals as well?

I imagine if sales are decent enough, they can be talked into it. It's one reason I bought the GU collection. I'd much rather have the first 4.
