Walmart has online zipcode discounts for the X1X. Some people have been able to use BB price matching to get heavily discounted X1X's (e.g., $350). I'm going to steal a post from reddit to show what to do. I already have an X1X myself and am not attempting to get another one.

This still works! Placed my order today afternoon. This is what I did:

  1. Went to Best Buy and clicked on Price Match Guarantee
  2. Selected Online
  3. Started chat with a B.B. rep.
  4. Told him the B.B. SKU number for Xbox 1 x.
  5. Gave him this link - Walmart
  6. Told him the zip code as 65712
  7. He took couple of minutes to verify and told that I was eligible for price match.
  8. Asked me shipping or store pickup. I took store pickup with Battlefield store near Springfields.
  9. He generated a purchase link and I completed payment 350 + tax ($26).
  10. I got the order number in the chat and email.
  11. Closes chat session.
  12. Went to bestbuy.com and looked up my order number. Changed the order with a nearby pickup store here in California.
  13. Order is now being prepared and I will complete pickup later today.
Overall took around 15 min.

Been in chat with a BB rep for a few mins. He's having an issue finding the price because you have to select a specific store for pickup to get the discounted price. I'll update once I have an answer

 
Nice, it actually worked for me. Thanks OP! I used a Walmart location that had it for $375 and not marked as limited quantity. Figured it'd be more likely to go through if the savings wasn't that huge. Area code 12804 if you'd like to try.
 
Is the discounted price supposed to show up on Walmart.com when you switch zip codes? Still shows as $499 even when switching to store pick up at 65712. Is this deal quashed?

I was able to get it to work with one for $400-

i changed store after i got the price match...it was Joplin, MO 64804

I was able to pick up a project Scorpio edition for $300 yesterday from Bargain Hunt, dunno if anyone has those in their area or are lucky enough to have one in stock, but seems about as likely as getting this deal to work for you.

 
I tried price matching the X1X I bought from BB a few weeks ago. The first rep couldn't get the sale price to show on Walmart's website (used 12804 as the zip - second Queensbury store - and I was able to get it to appear on my browser). I even tried sending an imgur link of my browser but two reps weren't able to open the pages. I wonder if their internal computers block certain links like this. 

Anyways, the second rep took forever and a year to type, and my computer crashed after 45 mins of back and forth, so this is a no-go for me :(

It's worked for a few people in this thread. It's very YMMV but if it helps out 2 or 3 people I see it as a win.

Cheaper than $375? That's a long shot..lol. Unless you're banking on this glitch again? Makes no sense.

 
Just got back from bb. Was able to sneak in a order at 200 and changed the zip code to the local store after. Good deals this year, got a ps4 pro for 300, Skyrim vr bundle for 250 and now xbx for 200.
 
Can confirm I was able to get the $375 price match pretty easily. Now I have to debate if I actually want to pay that...

How did you get it for 200? did u do it in store? I've been trying to have them price match the 200 online since this morning and still no luck.

Depends. I got one and I have a GTX 1080, mainly because my IRL friends play on Xbox. I know I’ll want RDR2 at the highest resolution and it’s not coming to PC at least at first.

Witcher 3 got a 60fps patch today and I’m a sucker for achievements so I’ll probably replay that again on Xbox with all the DLC. If you’re running something like a 970, it’s cheaper right now to get a 1X than it is going out and buying an RX580/1060 with mining going on.
 
the zip codes that had these cheaper were 38635 and 17202 both of which go in and out of stock BB has done price matches for tons of people on these including myself they also have PUBG free with it and a 50$ gc that most have been able to get no problem.  I dont think a much better deal for one of these system will be around for quite some time so jump now.

 
I was able to get another $50 off my $350 PM from a couple days ago by showing the chat rep the new $50 GC promo. Not bad at all. I just bought a gaming laptop and was really not planning on buying an X yet, but this was too good to pass up. Oh well time to sell off my S.

pretty much followed the directions on slickdeals. Used the zip code that had it at that price and once I got the order link I just changed it to the local best buy for in store pick up. First couple of reps denied me instantly, and had one tell me they couldn't get the walmart website to load, 4th person I chatted with took about 30 minutes and got the price match done.
