Best Buy is having a Two Day Sale (Friday & Saturday).

One of the promotions is a free Xbox One X Enhanced game with purchase of an Xbox One X console.

Free game options include:

Middle Earth: Shadow of War

Destiny 2

Star Wars Battlefront II

Call of Duty: WWII

Madden NFL 18

Forza Motorsport 7

Assassin's Creed Origins

NBA 2K18

When Best Buy had the $50 gift card with X1X purchase deal last month, people were able to call in and get it that day on their already purchased Xbox, including back to preorders. Do you think you could call in or chat and similarly request this promotion?

(It also worked with PUBG.)

 
I tried via chat and got denied. But my original purchase included PUBG & the $50 gift card. I would rather have one the enhanced games instead of PUBG.

I already tried. "Not valid on previous purchases."

I was able to get them to give me the $50 dollar gift card since I bought the system a week before they started that promo.

I literally just purchased an X on Wednesday from Best Buy. Do you think they'd honor giving me one of these games since the purchase was only two days ago?

 
If anyone gets this to work let us know. I am going to try tomorrow at my best buy with my receipt. I mean if you are within the return policy it should not be an issue. I saw someone use chat to try and do this but in my experience they are garbage for help. The stores are generally much nicer and can bend the rules.

I had the exact opposite experience when price matching PUBG+$50. I had done in-store pickup at launch and the manager was very unhelpful. I went online and got it all taken care of in 5 minutes, took a few weeks for the $50 gift card, but still got it.

It’s a flat 4K resolution, correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t remember if it has HDR.

To the (early access) game’s defense, it has been getting a steady flow of patches. I feel the effort has been much better than other early access games (such as Ark, albeit not saying much). Time will tell.
 
Can confirm I got it to work in store. Tried bb chat and they couldn't authorize it, had me call the 888 number and they said they could do it in store. They did a return/rebuy with my receipt. Picked up my xb1x at launch and got the pubg+$50 gc thru bb chat earlier last month.
