Should I bite or leave alone

Well, the game is definitely worth 35. Whether or not the guy is reputable is another discussion. CL, to me, is always sketchy but that's for you to decide.

Tell him to meet you. You'll give half up front and half after you enter the code and it works. Splits the risk evenly.
