How come I've never heard of a GameStop that does this then? I'm sure as much as it's hated a story would have been shared on here of that scenario if it presented itself.

Yea that's what I don't understand is that you say it's just the local laws that require best buy to only accept games purchased from them. But I can trade to target, gamestop, walmart, and pawn shops with just a ID in the same city/state.

Someone posted earlier in the thread and said in the past they gave you the promo amount plus the additional % for elite and pro, being Elite would get you $35 for the DS4. Which sweetens the deal imo.

 

 

Someone should do this and post.  It’d save some people some time.  For $35, I’d trade in my extra controller which came with my OG PS4
