Never have I been more deflated in a CAG thread then when i saw “Beanie” lol. I thought they were giving away OUBG with 3 month cards like they did RL for a second there lol

I just traded my copy into Best Buy for $19.74 a couple weeks ago (a little over $20 when you add in the GCU bonus). Play through it three times, do the ending battle a couple more times to see the other two main endings, buy all the trophies, and trade it in. Great game, but not much reason to keep going after you see the story. $10 to experience that is worth it.

I did the XB1X deal a few weeks ago when it had the free controller and 3 months of Live I wonder how hard it will be to get the free PUBG? I am a Elite member.

If you're on the fence or considering Metal Gear Survive, there is another free beta going on right now and lasting all weekend.  Try it before you buy it.

I personally thought it was boring.  It was, for the most part, well made (controls were questionable; a bit too many items to collect and craft, imo), but it was very generic.  Nothing really stood out.  It seemed like a run of the mill "get resources, build defenses, kill zombies, repeat" type game.  Would make for a good Games with Gold candidate.  I personally wouldn't pay money for it.

I'm gonna have to agree here, got to max level in the beta and that game is honestly a blast if you play with a group/friends, there's a lot of stuff you can craft and choose how to play each mission, and a good variety of items as well. Plus there is also going to be a full single player campaign with more survival aspects as well, but just from the multiplayer I'm buying it day one and will see how the single player is.

I believe that Best Buy has a Price Match Guarantee policy for their in-store price drops or deals, which can be applied within 14 days from the date of purchase. So, just try going to Customer Service with your receipt and asking for that deal.

I feel the same although I didn't know it'd be out so soon lol. I'm still playing MHW with my friends and this crept up real fast. Metal gear survive is pretty solid and really fun with 3 other players cause a lot of shenanigans can be had thanks to the in-depth metal gear controls and the left over humor that kojima put into all his games. The Kojima charm is there cause the controls, mechanics and everything else is a direct copy of MGS 5. It's by no means a GOTY contender but it's a damn good funny game to play with friends at 31.99 with gcu which I think is a great buy.

I'm mixed on the game yet I find myself playing every other day. I like the squad/communication aspect. Not as many toxic players as you'd guess, at least in the more hardcore first person-only mode (which isn't available for consoles just yet).

It runs like trash and shooting mechanics are questionable...it just has these moments of pure brilliance that you can't replicate in any other game. And being in control of the chaos is far more gratifying than watching someone else.

I thought FPP was already in it. I always see the option.

As for toxic players, in about 200 or so rounds in solo, duo, and squad, I've only experienced toxic-like behavior once.

It actually happened last night in a dip match where my friend and I were hiding near a fence near the military base trying to spot the last 4 guys. We ended up taking fire from the north and he got put down. As the blue circle started closing I spotted two guys to my left (south) rushing behind a building. Naturally I wasn't going to go between the two teams. So I waited until they stopped, walked up behind the two and ended their run. Within a minute I had a "Pussy camper" message.

Backlog or not, this game is worthy of moving to the top of your list IMO. One of my top 3 favorites of last year and one of the best exclusives for Sony. 100% worth $24
 
Yeah I was literally going to buy an Xbox one x today but the nearest best buy (have gift cards) is 30 mins away so I wanted to be sure I would be able to call or email and get the pubg code without hassle
 
Free PUBG with new XBOX One X might be too good to pass up. Curious if it's a physical copy of the game or a download code.

Still don't have 4K tv yet but can't see too many other good bundles/discounts coming for the console for awhile.

Download code w Xbox X, also there is no physical copy it’s just a code in a box that you see at retail.
 
@Tyrok $100 off PSVR. All bundles? Base Bundle only? i only ask because i don't have the camera or the move controllers. and figure i can pick up everything on the cheap if this is true for bundles.
