Bestbuy - buy $150 in gift cards, get $15 savings code

Awesome! I may get two sets of cards and use that to purchase a switch this weekend.  So I'll be earning points while still getting a discount, thanks OP!

 
Bought $150 for future Best Buy purchases. Wish they were doing this a couple months ago when I bought my Switch. 

Also: It's worth noting that the $15 savings code has to be spent between 3/18/18 and 3/31/18. I will be canceling my regular Far Cry 5 pre-order to upgrade to the Gold edition on 3/18.

This makes the entire deal moot for me. It'll essentially force me into paying MSRP or a much higher price for a game that I wouldnt even get to play until later (when it's on sale), and it'll probably be a $15 difference on average between MSRP and its inevitable sale price.

Oh well. This is cool for people who know exactly what they want and need it now, like the guy who's getting a Switch.

Going to use this to get Kirby, Attack on Titan 2, and Ni no Kuni 2 then use the $15 credit +$5 credit to get the NnK2 season pass.

If it's anything like the last saving codes promotion (for doing in store pick up) then yes you can use multiple codes in one order and if you go into the store then you can use the codes to purchase a gift card, eliminating the expiration date.

If I did it back in December do I still qualify? I am thinking of buying the giftcard, purchasing two 50 psn cards at BB, and use that money on the psn store to get the $15back. That way, I would spend $100 dollars and get $30 back.

I’m sure you know but you have to spend the $100 on the PSN store to get the $15 bonus. Just adding the cards to your account alone won’t activate the PSN promotion. :)

But for me, this deal is basically just free money, at the expense of giving money up front - money l’ll spend within the next 6-12 months anyways.

Even if there’s nothing I want now, I’ll use the bonus credit to buy a PSN card, BB card, or PS+ card essentially with a free $15 off. These kinda deals stacked with the 20% off coupon PlayStation occasionally sends is an awesome way (and only way) to effectively get Overwatch loot boxes on sale :D

Yeah that's what I meant, the $15 credit. I guess the poster was referring to the GCs - thats what happens when I post while trying to get through a mountain of work.

I got my code this morning.

Can it be applied to a pre-order?

I want to use it on Far Cry 5.

When I go to pre-order, it says "use Best Buy Pay" whatever that means.

Thats exactly what I did. Bought the gold edition of Far Cry 5, I'm really excited for this game!

Another perk is that this helped me get into Best Buy Elite, so I'll be enjoying those perks now!

Wish I had seen this prior to putting in all my orders. The most expensive of which is now sold out (Cyberpunk CE).

My GCU expires at the end of this month.
