Destiny 2 for PS4 - $16.72 Amazon

Campaign is terrible so you'll be looking for the weekly rotation/grind/end game for the entertainment, which is gimped unless you have DLC.  Not worth it unless the DLC pass is discounted as well.

 
I recently picked this up from the backlog after playing it for a few hours around launch ... it was just so god damn boring ... what the heck happened to Bungie!? I want to say maybe it’s just me, but with so many good games these days, the campaign just felt so shallow and dull.
 
These recent price reductions on the vanilla edition make me wonder if it is on the decline like MvC: infinite or if a new edition is on thr horizon ala Injusice 2.

 
Would almost guarantee a new edition within 3-6 months, if not sooner. It will follow the same 'Taken King' model the original game did. What amuses me is that Destiny and its expansions now have zero resale value due to being DLC based. Similar model to WoW I suppose ... sucks if you want to resell your old game though.

Bungie was never a triple-A developer. They basically got really lucky with Halo 1 and Halo 3, and eventually made the first Destiny a good game after about two years on the market.

The price of the game has been decreasing since last thursday. It was $20.73 on thursday and I went to my local Target so they can price match it. Now, im going to go back there so they can price match it again. Ive been checking the price of the on Amazon everyday since Thursday. It drops 10 cents or so every couple hours.

Almost certainly a DLC edition will come out, just like the original. Then they’ll have a full collection version later on.
