Any way to get the sack without buying the game? Lol. Like what if I buy it on Friday, and return just the game a week later?
 
You can probably return the game but for less value. Target sometimes bundles a game and a collectible so that the game is worth less than 60. Essentially you would be paying just for the bag.

A lot of times Target will sell these "free" items separately, like for $5 or so. They will often put them on clearance too, after a few weeks. So that will be the only legit, non criminal way to get the sack without buying the game.

Thanks for the reminder! I don't buy a lot of Blu-Rays these days, but this is one I will definitely pick up. I also somehow haven't seen The Last Jedi so I will pick that steelbook up even though it's fucking $30, might as well go ahead and buy the 4K release since I plan on getting a One X in a few months and it's only $5 more.

Same here; I don't buy blu-rays unless I really, really liked a movie. I can't wait to laugh out loud all over again when I watch the movie a second time.

 
If anyone buys Rainbow Six or Year 3 Season Pass, please post here of the quality of the keychain. I've been thinking of buying Year 3, and if that keychain is nice (design looks nice in person, made of nice metal, etc.), I'll probably go the Target route. I've seen the design in the Target ad, it looks nice there. Maybe if there's a media person that isn't doing anything this week I'll ask if I can take a look at the keychain.

Good luck finding one. I've been to 3 stores that say limited stock and no of them have it/employee won't go look for it.

Thanks all, I'll give my Target a shot after work. Sadly they don't have it on their website, so I can't use BrickSeek unless someone as the DPCI. Also hadn't occurred to me to check Siege community boards, someone probably posted pics of it on the subreddit. Probably for the best personally if Target is out of the keychains, will save me $30 out of pocket by just buying Year 3 using my GameStop credit.

For those looking to score a Kirby cinch sack, I'm thinking this item will be truly a giveaway with purchase, no DPCI or UPC from what I can tell. This means that you likely won't be able to ring it up separate like the Rainbow Six keychain.

It's rare but there are giveaways not tied to a DPCI or UPC. I recall there being a "Not for Resale" LEGO vehicle around Christmas free with purchase that had to be manually given by the cashier: no prompts, no spot for it on the floor, etc.

Sorry all, I forgot to come back here after I scored my keychain! I like it, feels like maybe heavy plastic or maybe lightweight metal (upon further thought, it's definitely metal)? Regardless, it has some heft to it. The backside of it is the game logo, looks very nice. (pic below hidden behind spoiler)

As reported, you'd be able to buy it individually for $4.99, but I got it for "free" by buying the Year 3 PS4 card. Both the keychains and the Siege digital cards were hanging on one of the new game release endcaps. Digital cards seem to generally be tax-free when I get them at Target (in Michigan), but annoyingly since this was a Buy1Get1 Free offer, I got taxed for the full purchase amount. The receipt shows the usual Target prorated discount. Knocked $0.71 off the keychain, and $4.28 off the Year 3 digital card, then full Michigan sales tax against $29.99, so getting the keychain cost me $1.80

The cinch sack is in the system now at $7.99. DPCI is 207-04-1566

So if you bought the game at full price it would likely pro-rate it like this (I think):

Kirby - $52.94

Cinch Sack - $7.05

So if you wanted to buy one or the other that's your price essentially after returning one of them.

The listing for the game on Amazon is unavailable right now, which is a bummer since the pre-order price was $54.24. Was hoping to stack Amazon price plus pre-order card from Target plus REDcard plus returning cinch sack to get the game for cheap. Without a price match to Amazon I'm looking at:

Kirby+Cinch Sack $59.99

-5% with REDcard

=$56.99

-$6.69 (prorated return of cinch sack and REDcard discount)

=$50.30

+1.00 pre-order card

$51.30, plus a $5 gift card from pre-order

Saving me a grand total of $1.70+tax over GCU :dunce: (really hoping for Amazon lowers that price back down to $54.24 lol)

Weird, the DPCI at my store on the peg is the one I listed and it’s $7.99 whereas yours is closer to the description of the item and is $0.01. The 1 cent would make a pro rated return not worth it obviously.

My store didn’t get any cinch sacks anyway but the other one in town did but they ran out.
