Where's the Nintendo Direct discussion and the Super Smash Bros. buzz?

Unfortunately, this show how much CAG has changed more than anything else. Less talk about gaming news and more about deal flipping.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but I used to rely on CAG for a complete list of new games, announcements, etc.

I read on other sites a little about Smash coming out in 2018! New characters appear to be Inkling Boy/Girl and Link/Zelda/other from BotW... which makes it sound like "new" rather than "Deluxe" or a port.

What else did I miss?

Captain toad for the switch with Mario odyssey levels, Luigi's mansion for 3ds, crash bandicoot trilogy for the switch, okami hd, hyrule warriors switch, octopath traveler (optional c.e.), Mario tennis aces and some splatoon 2 updates and a new paid dlc single player mode.
That's all I can remember.

I tried a switch rally around Christmas for 2nd time since getting at launch last year, and this sub section never changes

I’ll say this, as I was right with CAG, next year this time, switch will be #1 console, and then everyone will act like they were on board

There's already two kinda main Switch threads. One is basically dead, but the other is about the weekly sales and does include news and discussion.
