You're surprised at the low turnout in listener feedback? I can't speak for anyone else, but you directly acknowledged my feedback last week solely to tell me, and the others who'd chimed in with the same sentiment, to fuck off and that you didn't care. That goes a long way toward eliminating future feedback.

For whatever reason, the podcast doesn't have a date attached to it, so it appeared at the bottom of the list of my downloaded CAGcasts.  Just in case anyone was wondering where the new one was.

I can't speak for wombat but I think he was looking for something beyond correcting his grammar.

Weird about the podcast date...it seems fine and showed up ok on Spotify, iTunes, Skitcher...

Hit refresh, date seems to be fine now and the CAGcast is on top where it should be.  Weird.

Okay. That's fair. But why acknowledge it at all, then? Just ignoring the comments you find to be garbage is different from taking the time to point them out.

Sorry to hear about that Xbox One X getting stolen, Cheapy. It sucks that you went out of your way to reward a CAG user only to have some stranger steal it. Let us know if they catch the guy.

I'm just wondering if you were as critical of the Video Game Summit that happened in 2013 that was hosted by Joe Biden?

No I am not. One was misguided meeting by a V.P. that was not that highly publicized and the other was an intentional distraction by the President.

Biden was appointed by Obama to lead a gun violence task force, so it would make sense for the VP to run it.   I personally think both meetings were held on the same premise -- finding an easy scapegoat in an industry that few people at that level of government really understand.  And like most meetings in Washington, probably ended with nothing really getting accomplished except a box getting checked.

[X] - Hold video game summit

I'm not sure why one would be considered a misguided meeting and the other an intentional distraction.  That sounds like your bias is showing.  Again.  I think both meetings were equally misguided distractions.

I am 100% biased. I don't think I have ever pretended otherwise.

Immediately after Cheapy mentioned he bought Super Mario sippers, Shipwrecks voice was so full of life and joy.  If anyone is in the market to get a gift for shipwreck, I hope you wrote that one down.

Great show guys!  Thanks for all the work you put into it.

Second question - If it took a decade before Mel Gibson could come back to movies, how long do I need to wait before playing Kingdom Come Deliverance?

Edit - I guess that first post wasn't really a question.

The three ways CAGcast hosts deal with not knowing something

CheapyD: When Cheapy doesn't know something, he can't be bothered to look it up. He is content with not knowing and continues on with his life.

Shipwreck: Some times Shipwreck will be curious enough to google something during a show. If he does so, he will tactfully wait for a pause in the conversation and insert the tidbit.

Wombat: Wombat can't handle not knowing something. If a fact somehow eludes his vast knowledge base, he will forget that Cheapy and Shipwreck exist and go to Google town immediately. The conversation will continue without him and possibly change to a new topic. As soon as Wombat acquires the information, he will blurt out said tidbit with absolutely no regard for the current state of the CAGcast. I would say this happens about once per three episodes.

Love you guys. Been a CAG since 2005 and never miss an episode. Keep up the great work (except for Wombat - do better, Wombat)

I've been listening to the CAGcast for as long as I can remember being able to get audio RSS on my OG PSP. It's stupid that every week I think  "I should write in and say thanks," but I'm just now getting around to it. On some level I really relate to all of you, especially as you have turned into parents and now parents of gamers. I'm a few years ahead of you, but still appreciate the insight. I travel a ridiculous amount (I'm a pilot) so you guys keep me company when I'm stuck in random hotels, airports, going for walks, and driving between airports and hotels. I swear my uniform looks better if I'm listening to the CAGcast when I'm ironing it, because I'll get lost in the show and spend way more time on it than is necessary.

Over the years its been nice to get the added value of stories about life in Japan, basement game room renovations, smart homes, upscaling HDMI adapters for old school consoles, birthday dinners, and haunted family reunions. I hope there are more tangents on the way to go along with gaming news and reviews. Keep up the great work!
