Stopped in to look for the new Yokai Toys and saw a huge new assortment of Movies

Picked up Rio 2 Blu Ray 3D/DVD/Digital HD

Also off the top of my head

Saw

Russell Madness Blu Ray/DVD/Digital
Paranoia Blu Ray
Snatch DVD
Twilight Series DVD
Hero Of Color City DVD/Digital
Wizard of Oz Animated DVD
Houdini Animated DVD
Paranormal Activity Series DVD

a whole bunch I pressed for time but ill be looking at a few other stores for Yokai's and Blu's a lot of 20th century stuff Happy Hunting !

Hit up five dollar trees, only got two blurays (the November Man and Parental Guidance). Didin't find Rio 2, but tons of the animated wizard of OZ movie and older features.

This may be a restock of the drop that happened about a month or so ago.  Back then they had Rio 2, as well as a few other 3D Blu Rays, along with 20 to 30 normal Blu Rays including the ones listed in the first post.

Looks like they added more.  As the stores I went to had big bins for their weekly deals filled with new movies.  Remember seeing Caprica(DVD), Blitz(BD),  Tekken 2: Kazuya's Revenge(DVD or BD), Kindergarten Cop 2(DVD), Ninja(DVD or BD) among others.

Caprica (if it's the TV show) is definitely worth the pick up.  The dvd is the pilot episode for a  good series (with some problems) that deserved a second season.

My store just got a bunch of new DVDs and Blu Rays in, along with some restocks of the ones from March. I didn't really get a good look, because I was in a rush. But, there seemed to be mostly junk, and exercise videos.

How dare you call Russell Madness junk!?!

I found some blus:

Survivor (one random copy even had the slipcase)
Enough Said (with Digital Copy)

A couple more, but I forget the titles.  Tons of DVDs.

[attachment=30354:20180611_194554.jpg]

They had those shown on dvd/ blu ray
Plus others like

Speed Racer
About Schmidt
Iron Man Amoured Adventures
Sabrina teenage witch
Madeline
More....

Got to mine today, guessing what I found was mostly from the June shipment. My store seems to put them in a basket near the front when they come in and then the leftovers get moved to the electronics section after a little while.

picked up...

Paper Towns (Blu/DVD/Digital) ...only copy

The Marine 4: Moving Target (Blu/Digital) ...only copy

Marvel Knights: Eternals (DVD) they had a ton of these at my store, they're in weird cases. Also, I figured this wasn't truly animated (it's closer to a slide show) and from what I read online it isn't. I had watched the Marvel Knights Spider-Woman years back that was done similarly. I didn't mind it.

Power Rangers: Best of Blue (DVD) Got this for my nephew.

Also saw...

Moonwalkers (tons of DVDs and Blus, separate.)

Danny Phantom: Ghost Hunter (DVD)

The Secret Saturdays (DVD not sure which volume)

Iron Man Armored Adventures: Season 2, Volume 3 (DVD)

Space Warriors (DVD)

Sympathy for Delicious (Blu)

The Way, Way Back (DVD)

Glee: Encore (DVD)

There was at least one other Blu (without digital/DVD) and a bunch of other DVDs.

Picked up the Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures cartoon 2-Disc set.
Aw, fragnards! I'd love to add this to my collection. The Hanna-Barbera episodes were honestly hilarious! The dudes go to an old castle with severed heads lining the walls... they all belong to annoying door to door salesmen and other solicitors. One of them is Ed McMahon, shouting "you may already be a winner! Ho ho ho!" You see, he was a spokesman for Publisher's Clearing House and... eh, you had to be there.

I haven't been to Dollar Tree in ages. However, I did manage to find a handful of pretty good Warner DVDs at a rival store, Dollar General. Season two of Night Court and seasons of the quickly cancelled Thundercats reboot for $5 each? Hell yes. Back that up over HE-AH.

There was one episode where Rufus, Bill, and Ted were in a record store and Rufus (voiced by George Carlin of course) picks up a George Carlin stand-up album and says “well this looks interesting.” What a great series.

Thanks for the heads up on the Thundercats reboot DVDs at Dollar General. I enjoyed the reboot and will be on the lookout for them.

I must have gone to a differ dollar store, I found

Codebreakers (good true story about Army Honor code and football program)

The Last Station (really good actors)

Some other B-rated movies.

Stopped in at mine today and they had more Blus and DVDs in the basket up front, so it seems like they got some more in. Looked like they stuck in some old ones from the electronics shelf in the back as when I walked back, they had rearranged them a bit to make room for power strips.

Picked up...

Parental Guidance (Blu/DVD/Digital)

Don Jon (Blu/DVD/Digital)

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (Blu/DVD/Digital) ...also had this on just DVD.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (DVD) this was the only copy they had

Also saw...

A lot more copies of Paper Towns (Blu/DVD/Digital).

Another copy of The Marine 4 (Blu/Digital)

Digimon Volumes 1, 2 and 3 on DVD. Believe these were all Season 1. These were separate, each had 3 discs.

Caprica (DVD) Believe this is the extended pilot for the Syfy show.

The Virginian (2014 Western with Ron Perlman) Can't remember if this was Blu or DVD.

There were a few other Blus and a lot of other DVDs I'm forgetting. Lots of FOX stuff, especially on the Blu side of things. Had a bunch of copies of Don Jon and Paper Towns. Quite a few of Parental Guidance as well.

I picked up the pink panther 2 blu/dvd/digital, oranges blu/dvd/digital, woman in black 2 blu/dvd/digital - digital was expired and couldnt be redeemed.

Couldn't get Don Jon to redeem either, it expired a few years ago which generally isn't an issue as the Walter Mitty code had also expired and entered fine. Looked it up and Don Jon and Woman in Black 2 were both through Relativity Films, who went bankrupt and were bought out. Seems that's the issue as there was some talk elsewhere on the internet about issues with other Relativity codes.

And if the digital copy working happens to be a deal breaker for someone out there, Relativity's logo should be on the back below the cast and crew info. It's also on the spine of Don Jon right below the FOX logo at the top.

A lot of those Relativity films ended up on the Tubi TV app on Roku and cell phones. They are free to watch with short commercial breaks, and I imagine that they are the same quality as the digital copies were. If you have fast enough internet.

I really hope that my store has the Digimon sets. It's on Netflix for now, but you never know when Netflix is just going to remove something for no reason.

I was surprised they had some newer studio releases like Joy among the $1 titles.  I already had that but I did pick up a dozen titles that I didn't.

Went to mine and grabbed a few BRs and DVDs.

I got :

Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox(DVD)

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2(DVD)

Fantastic Four(BR, 2015 version)

Taken 2(BR, unrated/rated combo)

Robocop(DVD, 2014 reboot)

Mine had a ton of copies of Don Jon on BR and most of the DVDs were cheap kids shows(no Digimon or Power Rangers).

I entered Parental Guidance from 2015 and it went through I was really surprised.

Only managed to find Digimon Fusion Season 1 Volume 1. Wish they had Digimon Adventure. If anyone sees them locally I would gladly pay to have them shipped.

All I managed to find at three stores was Volume 1 and 3 of Digimon for my kid, Paper Towns Blu, and Joy on Blu. Gonna hit a few more up more tomorrow and I'll update if I find anything that's not Jillian Michaels workout DVDs or Charlie Countryman/Moonwalkers that my stores had plenty of.

My store had nothing. Might try a few others tomorrow, but I am guessing that all the good stuff is gone. Most stores have had these since Thursday or Friday of last week.

One of my local DTs got some new DVDs and Blu Rays. Mostly junk, but I noticed some Well Go USA DVDs if you're into Asian action flicks (Kung Fu Killer, Police Story: lockdown, Memories of the sword). Also saw some DC animated films: Batman/ Superman movie, something Justice League.

Picked up Kung Fu Killer (great Donnie Yen flick) and Wilfred (US version) season 2. They also had Wilfred Season 1.

A new Dollar Tree Store opened in my town and they get new DVDs and Blu Rays every week instead of as a special thing every few months. It's a pretty limited selection, with only one or two copies of each, but I much prefer it to how it is at other stores. I have got a few decent and recent releases so far. Including the new-ish Jetsons movie from 2017 with the WWE wrestlers in it. Which comes with three classic Jetsons episodes as a special feature. I have also got some seasons of Power Rangers (Alien Rangers, and Mystic Force), which considering the low quality of the episodes on Netflix these are nicer to have, since Shout Factory did something that made them look better on DVD. Certain episodes of Mystic Force can be kind of wobbly on Netflix. Also got a DVD of "lost and uncensored" Carol Burnett episodes. They had many Blu Rays of films that I had no interest in, and some straight to Blu Ray sequels (Like Tekken 2, and The Woman in Black 2). I kind of prefer weekly new movies and books to the haphazard way that it was done before. Where books or DVDs would be a special thing.

I stopped at mine today. They had some random ones thrown in the electronics shelf so I guess they were in store long enough to get out of the front basket.

There were two blu-rays. Joan Rivers special and some for Paris love film that was a bunch of shorts with a ton of actors and directors listed.

Quite a few random Yu-Gi-Oh. Season 2, Volume 1. Season 5, Volume 1. Some for set with a movie and a few eps. Some for spinoff (looking up online, Zexal I believe.)

I picked up Superman Unbound and The Super 6: The Series (1966 cartoon that ran for 20 episodes.)

They had a few others that were kids stuff.

Flyer in today's paper advertised a new shipment was in of Blus and DVDs. My local store had the display rack in the front stacked full. Looks like they pulled most from the Electronics section and put them up front too.

I picked up...

Son of Batman (DVD)

The Batman Superman Movie (DVD)

The Campaign (Blu+Digital HD) EDIT: Code worked

Bad Words (Blu/DVD/Digital HD) EDIT: Code didn't work.

Paranoia (Blu+Digital) EDIT: Code didn't work. Didn't expect it to.

Robocop (Blu/DVD/Digital HD) EDIT: Code worked

Pink Panther 2 (Blu+Bonus DVDs. One says 3 hours of Pink Panther cartoons, the other says it's Portable Copy)

The Phenom (Blu)

Not sure what codes will work. Almost positive Paranoia's won't work as it's by Relativity and they went bankrupt

There was a ton of other stuff. Off the top of my head

Red vs. Blu Season 10 (Blu) There were a ton of copies of this.

The Bounty Hunter (Blu) w/ Jennifer Aniston. There was one copy of this and it was marked PROMO.

The Secret Life of Mitty (Blu) This was in one of the older shipments.

The Power of Few (Blu) Think this was in a previous shipment too.

Drumline (Blu)

Kickboxer Vengeance (Blu). Bunch of these.

Super Mario Bros. Cartoon (DVD) This was one of those random episode bundles.

Batman cartoon (DVD) This was one of those 4 episode sets.

Digimon (DVD) Just a single DVD

A Bunch of Munsch (DVD) Complete series, 7 episodes.

Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist (Blu)

Indian Summers Season 1 (DVD) Some PBS show

At least another 20-30 titles between Blu and DVD.

Да кинотеатр серый, сделан в Румынии.Купился на дешевую ценну. DVD код-2,Blu-Ray код-В. Но дело в том ,что аппарат выплевывает DVD диски даже не загрузив их. Что бы это значило?

Just a quick note to confirm that the Katyn Blu-ray is indeed framed at 16:9. English subtitles are available only on the feature, not the extras so no change from the DVD.

There are reports of another round of $1 Blu-Rays at Dollar Tree again.  Haven't checked my local store yet but will try to get there tomorrow.

I heard the same. But, my local store has DVDs and Blu Rays all year, so I usually don't notice. Let us know if you see anything good. My mom is recovering from surgery, so I haven't been able to leave the house.
