Same here, I tried having them PM bby but the scanner app they use wouldn’t pull up the item correctly. I was thinking about keeping it sealed a week or two and maybe return/rebuy when they have a sale.
 
Looks like loads of the Targets have Y6 I stock here. This wasn't the case when Y0 only select stores carried it.

They merged the sku to the standard one so as long as they look at it like that it should be good. If they scan it like the guy above that's different.

At my target I show them on the website. They scroll to the sku, and make sure it matches them price match it.

I know the skus merged at Target but wouldn’t they see the skus are different from Bestbuy compared to Target?

I don't think your understanding what I'm saying. Target merged the gold editions with the standard edition so in their system they share the same sku.

Show them the bestbuy standard edition currently on sale for 29.99, they price match the target gold to the bb price of the standard.

Don’t think you are understanding. It doesn’t matter that the SKUs are merged at target. When he takes the gold edition up to cust servoice at Target, they are going to pull up the gold edition at Best Buy. They are going to look at the product and see they aren’t the same.

Target and BB don’t share the same SKUs.

I believe people have had success buying the Gold Edition at the normal price then returning to the store with only the receipt to get a post purchase price match/adjustment. Since Target has the SKUs merged the receipt will only show the normal edition, which can then be price matched to Best Buy or whoever else has it on sale.

Figpin is indeed not free with the console (which is a total rook).

It’s one of the nicer Figpins I’ve seen. Costs $13.99 on its own if anyone is interested in getting it at a prorated cost.

This made me check the gold ed reciept, and I noticed that the DCPI was the vanilla version (I expected it to show the upc or something). So I was able to snag the vanilla game from BBY for 25 after GCU, then return it using the merged sku receipt at Target with no issues whatsoever. Probably a bit shady, but way easier than trying to get them to match the gold edition.
