I haven't started it yet, but with RPG's I tend to like to plan ahead. Does anybody happen to have any general tips or advice they wish they'd had when they started Divinity Original Sin? I know I've read people before talking about how they started wrong and ended up having to start over, and I'd rather avoid that if possible.
Also picked up the game during the sale so haven't started yet (+20% off, making it $9) but I found a decent beginners guide on Kotaku.
Two big take aways I read are build an elemental damaging class character and don't spend you skill points as soon as you get them from level ups. Skill points are hard to come by and you'll want them to flesh out your build later in the game to wreck end game dungeons.
