It also says I'm one of the lucky ones. Maybe because I got skipped last time they did this. Anywho, it automatically tells you how much you get. I got $5 and its valid until May 6th. Good luck!

I always get screwed over and NEVER get the $5k.  Last time I only got $500 and this time I only got $1,000.  Good luck to the rest of you, though.

 
I'm a BBR and GCU member, but I have never gotten any of these emails. Do you have to toggle on the newletters and junk to stand a chance? I think I toggled them off because of all the clutter Frys/newegg and the others kept filling my inbox with.

Waiting for the outrage from people who claim to spend tens of thousands at Best Buy each year, and complain they didn't get $5

 
so anyone tried using it online? i found it in my email but when i click it to use it online..says you're not eligible? but i can print it and use it in store?...haven't gone to the store and tried yet but just curious anyone else have the same situtation? thanks

 
I'm fine with getting nothing, but I'd at least like to get the email knowing I'm in the 'contest'. I never get anything from BB.

 
I used to get these emails all the time from best buy, I wonder  why they stopped sending them to me, whats the criteria? Do I spend too much at best buy?

If you're already spending money at BB they don't need to send you one. These promos are typically meant to incentivize former customers to come back. I only get these offers if I haven't shopped at BB in a while.
 
Oh wait, they sent me a random "welcome back" $5 cert last month which might've disqualified me on this one.

I was only away for like a month, I don't know why I even qualified for that.
