I think I will pick up Dragon's Crown Pro because I really like that game and only have it on Vita currently, plus that steelbook looks nice. 

I want State of Decay and Hyrule Warriors on Switch, but like Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze I am having trouble justifying the price for a game I already own just to have it on Switch. These should really be at least $50 instead of $60 games. State of Decay is priced right, but I may just reactivate my Game Pass and try it out. Still don't have a One X yet and I am not all that interested in playing games on my OG Xbox One anymore, just makes me upset that it isn't a One X when I do.

I recall hearing that the Ultimate Edition of State of Decay was going to be released a few days ahead of the standard edition.

I'm pretty sure it's 5/18 for the Ultimate Edition, and 5/22 for the standard edition. I'm not sure if BB is mis-advertising the release date, or if OP missed some small print in the ad.

On a personal note, I really kinda hate this sort of business practice (releasing premium editions early), and I hope this doesn't become the standard.

Unfortunately, this seems like it's becoming more and more common with some games lately.

Xbox One X is going to include a $50 gift card from participating retailers the following week (May 20th-May 26th). Assuming that Best Buy is a participating retailer, can the console be purchased a few days beforehand as I really want to start SOD 2 on the 18th and it can be adjusted or will Best Buy simply not do that?

Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.

No new game content from what I understand, just audio and visual improvements plus cross-play with PS3 and Vita. The trophy list is shared as well. I still have the PS3 version so $50 is way too much for what they're offering.

Its a really stupid business practice. Also its not even worth buying first party MS games anymore when you can rent ALL of them for $10 a month at your leisure.

YMMV. If it was a straight $50 off, there wouldn't be a problem. Gift cards are hit or miss and you'll probably need a manager's approval.

Same. No way in hell I'm paying even close to MSRP for a game I've bought twice already and for like 15 a piece. Considering there are so many games continuously releasing for Switch, the games going to be a distant memory soon. Better put it on sale before no one wants to pay even $10

Yeah, I assume their reasoning for the early release is something like since who ever bought the better edition spent more money, then they should be able to get and play it earlier. I kind of understand that reasoning, but it also seems unfair.

Also, completely agree with the MS games not being worth buying (at least on release/when not on sale), when for the price of a 3 or 4 night redbox game rental, I can get a full month of unlimited games.

That's a good point. We didn't get this for any WiiU game.

But as crazy as this sounds, I think this might be an ubisoft game. Nintendo would never have a Mario game 50% off this often

In all seriousness, they had it at Toysrus for 42 and I almost jumped on it. I’m going to wait though and see if I can snag it after another 10% off. They had 8 copies so I might win out.

I feel like the game might have been $20 by now if they didn't have to give Nintendo their cut for the Mario license.
