TV Buying Advice

CAGiversary!
I'm in the market for buying either a 720p or 1080p tv between 32''-39'' to use exclusively for my ps4. It doesn't have to be smart. I'd actually prefer it wasn't smart because I don't want the extra hassle of having to set that up. My budget is $150

I have my eye on this TCL 32'' 720p tv.

Here's Walmart:

Here's Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/TCL-32D100-32-Inch-720p-Model/dp/B01LVZAUMM/ref=sr_1_5?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1526109241&sr=1-5&refinements=p_36%3A-15000

that I can get for roughly $90-$95 (site says $129.99, but can get it at Sears for less).

I would have preferred 1080p resolution, but at my budget I can't seem to find a reasonably priced model which is surprising considering the fact that 1080p resolution tvs have been around for at least 10 years now and should in fact be roughly at the price 720p tvs are at now with 720p tvs even cheaper.

Is 720p too low of a resolution to play ps4 games?

Should I give up and just wait for better tvs to get cheaper?

Thanks

Please don't get a 720p TV.  If that's your budget go on cragslist for a used 1080p because of many people are getting rid of their old unit for 4k
