PS4 pro purchase advice - deals? tips?

Thinking of getting one soon.
Do sales come often nowadays?

Is there anything else I should think about buying with the ps4 pro?
Any kind of advice is welcome
 
Are you dead set on a Pro? I owned a regular PS4 and then got the Pro and I've said this before but I don't think the Pro is worth it for 4K gaming. Horizon is the only game I played on the Pro where it actually blew me away visually with "4K" (since it's checkerboxed). Outside of that, most every other game the 4K advantage is minimal and I just play in performance mode (usually a locked 30 fps or unlocked fps) over the resolution mode. 

HDR is a much better visual feature and I think all PS4s support that. 

I also think that, with God of War having just come out and Detroit being released a few days ago, system sales are probably solid right now so there aren't going to be any deals. I'm guessing that'll be a some good bundles during Black Friday.
