Will you guys still get kickbacks for signing up at Harry’s even though they aren’t the sponsor this week?

As a comic book noob I'm having trouble figuring which comic books were recommended on this CAGcast from Amazon/Comixology Unlimited.

I looked for the comic books to start with:

I'm pretty sure this is the first one: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00DYVESX2

I think this might be one: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00EARP20M

Not sure which "Vision" comic book was recommended and whatever else I may have missed.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Good to hear that the show isn’t changing the narrative and actually enjoying a movie. Sounds like Cheapy got one of those crap projector screenings that IndieWire wrote about for Solo. That’s too bad, but I’m sure it wouldn’t have mattered since his mind was made up long before actually seeing the movie.

We literally all enjoyed Deadpool 2 just last week.

We literally all enjoyed Deadpool 2 just last week.

My bad, the overwhelming amount of complaining and handwringing Cheapy continues to throw at Star Wars made me forget that. Although I did like DP2 more than Solo as well.

I just wanted to say that Wombat pretty much got it right on the money about the Sega Genesis Classics collection. As much as I love the Genesis, I couldn't help but agree that aside from a few standouts (like Treasure's games) the game selection was too similar to previous compilations. Big kudos for mentioning that Mystic Defender should have been on there; I love that game. Been really enjoying your podcast for about a year now, keep being awesome, guys!

Two quick advertising questions:

1. a couple weeks ago you had an add for an underwear company.  I figured I'd check them out but can't recall the name.  Was there a CAG  code?

2. Hello Fresh: Unless I'm hearing you guys wrong, you keep saying $10 a meal but according to the site it's $10/person per meal which makes a big difference.  I guess it saves you some effort at the grocery, but it seems high for a single family meal.

I am not an Marvel Unlimited subscriber so some of my recommendation may not fit, but if you familiar with the MCU, but have not read Marvel comics I would go with comics that inspired the movies.  The  movies boil down the essence of the stories, but they are not the same plots so you should not feel like you are reading the same thing.

If you liked Captain America: The Winter Soldier read Ed Brubaker's run on Captain America.  This is the story arc hat brought Bucky back to the Marvel Universe, and it is probably the  best Captain America run of comics. It also dovetails nice into my next pick.

If you liked Captain America: Civil War why not read Civil War the comic.  The story in the book is not that similar to the plot of the movie, but they share a lot of the same notes.  Iron Man relationship with Spider-man works in the movie, and the thought behind starts in this comic.

The best part Thor: Ragnorak is the Sakaar section which is basically a short version of  the Planet Hulk.

If you like Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2 read the Dan Abnet & Andy Lanning run on Guardians of Galaxy. It is the reason why these characters work on screen. They essentially revamped the Marvel cosmic landscape. If you want some background for that run read these books.

Annihilation: Nova which leads to Annihilation which leads Annihilation Conquest (you will be familiar with the main villain of Conquest if you have just seen the movies).
