A cheap ass gamer. Follow the deals, my friend. Doesn't matter if it looks like shovelware; its 90% off and has a decent metacritic score. Buy it, maybe you'll play it one day(but probably not).

Really cool that your progress in the demo for Dragon Quest XI S  transfers to your main save. After playing a bit, it's a lot of fun.  Think I'll use one of my game vouchers once it releases. So awesome, it's like getting to play the game a month early (demo is the start of the game, roughly 10 hours).

With a lot of games these days, I feel like it takes a lot for me to really like it. The main reason being is that I have played a lot of games in my life and these days for something to hold my attention it usually takes something that has a really unique or fresh game play. So I went into the DQ XI demo, thinking the odds of it putting its hooks in me was very small. And yes, although the game doesn't do anything unique, it does almost all of its element very well. It has great music, great story telling, great voice acting, and it is difficult (draconian quests). I also used a voucher on it as of today. I am almost done with the demo and can't wait for the game to be released.

Also on reddit, they are saying that people can get a 30% discount on the Cytus game if you have downloaded one of their other games (Deemo or Voez). I played a bit of Cytus on my phone. I liked it a lot. Although I will probably hold out on a bigger discount to buy the Switch version.

Never even heard of Xonic, but I had some gold coins that I had no use for so I got it. Good reviews on MC and regularly $30 so why not at 89 coins.

Crayola Scoot is $2.99. I've read it's a decent scooter clone of Tony hawk with some splatoonesque elements thrown in. Going to give it a shot for $3.

We reviewed Scoot on Xone and Switch and it was a surprisingly enjoyable game. Far from perfect but the SCOOT boss battles got intense.

I'm far from convinced I'll enjoy Xonic but for $0.89 I'll give it a try. There is a free DLC bundle too.

Xonic is pretty fun. It's honestly very challenging to me due to the controller layout for the Switch, joycon or pro controller. I imagine using a PS3/PS4 controller would be way easier.

No, there is plenty of content to justify even a more realistic price. I think there are 65ish songs in the base version, with multiple modes and difficulties. It feels like many of the Japanese rhythm games in overall style, though it's by a Korean developer.

Is the Octo Expansion worth it if I don't find Splatoon 2's single-player campaign particularly engaging?  I fully plan to beat it, but I don't know if I could do another 80 levels of that.  Though if the multiplayer aspect is significant, I may still get it.

It is literally just 80 levels of challenges with different levels of difficulty with a razor thin story and some pretty cool boss battles holding it together.

The only thing it adds for multiplayer is some clothes and the Octolings.

I'm assuming a price match would have happened by now. In the past it feels like Amazon matched the big eShop sales on the same day it started.

It's a good game but that's only a $2 savings and that game has been on sale for cheaper.
