I've played a good bit of Hexologic and it's a really cool puzzle game. It's a hex-based game where you have pieces numbered from 1-3 tied to three of the face buttons and are presented with a board for each level that you must solve by filling them with those pieces to satisfy the sudoku-style numbers on the outer edges of certain parts of the board, which indicate the sum for that column in the direction indicated. It's a bit complicated to explain, but it's fairly simple in action and it works really well. The only issue is that the controls for moving around the board aren't great with either the analog stick or d-pad, so it can be annoying to move around. That's about it. It doesn't seem to have a ton of levels with about 60 levels in there, though it does have an option for turning off the confirmation of lines when you've got the right sum, not necessarily the correct sum, to make it a bit more challenging. I'll probably make a video tonight to better show it off.

So I got home about an hour ago and popped in Diablo 3, no update/install from the cart (that I could tell)
Have been playing 100% in handheld mode, not one issue or slowdown that I noticed.
For those that are curious, a few quick things i've noticed:
Seasons is live from day one! (ends Dec 16th? i think)
Double Cache bonus is also in effect. (Bonus perk for all characters)
It looks/feels/plays just like the PS4/Xbox version not stripped down at all. At least I have not seen anything thats missing from the PC/PS4 versions I have played 1000's of hours each.
For handheld mode, the graphics look pretty damn good. I assume the docked mode will be great.
PS4/Xbox version always felt like the camera is zoomed in on the character too much, PC version pulls back further. Switch version is closer to the PC version IMO, a plus.
A quick picture I found showing the difference between the PS4 and PC camera view, Note how the PS4's character *looks* bigger. The camera just feels closer than it needs to be. the Switch version seems to me a little closer to the PC view.

I wanted to play a spooky game for Halloween, so I finally tried my ancient cartridge of Spirit Camera 3DS. And the game is terrible. So terrible. It's so obnoxious and takes you out of the experience to be having to scan the included book with the 3DS camera and try to get the picky as hell AR to work. And then to talk to your ghost guide, you have to swivel around and try to find her in the real world with your camera. Want to just sit back and relax with a game? Not with this one. I quit after an hour and a half or so.

Looks like more repeated deals and rejected Steam Greenlight games. eShop is in a shit state. They need to start curating like they did during the first half of the 3ds's life. There wasn't a single game on the eShop that wasn't polished enough to not be considered "Nintendo quality"

Yeah. It looks like it has a value of around $6 on eBay. At least I'll get a few bucks after shipping. Gotta put my pennies together to get me a copy of Let's Go Pikachu, provided reviews are good.

I'm still not digital on my games since I have GCU. Other than that, this is going to be fairly complete cart so down the road I won't have to worry about updates and such. For people getting Diablo 3 tomorrow, are y’all getting the physical cart or digital? Torn on what version I want...

Spoiler
I’ve played about 8 hours already and noticed in handheld mode that the character is a little washed out detail-wise, but nothing else. As far as docked mode, I can tell that the graphics aren’t as crisp as my PS4, but again, nothing too bad.
Overall, really happy with the port to NSW so far!

They are working on a new diablo game or expansion, everyone thought they would announce this week at blizzcon but probably wont to not hurt Switch sales.
Read all the job postings at blizzard... theres a new diablo game coming. They have even hinted at it also.

Would just like to start an argument again....
Diablo 3 Switch online... works pretty smooth. Was able to join and play in a few games without any problems.
(oh... and I watched the Blizcon launch of the mobile Diablo game. They better announce D4 or a new expansion this week, cause Bliz did screw up lol)

Anyone planning on getting civilization 6?
I have it preordered and paid off. So I guess. Have pokemon the same day plus forza horizon 4, rdr 2, and cod bo4 that I've also just bought at their releases that I haven't given time to. So I will own it day one but probably may not play it til January. Then I gotta hurry before crackdown and anthem. Oh and I forgot I also bought smash and just cause 4. Why am I doing this to myself?

Bliz messed up big time in my opinion. If all they had planned for Blizzcon was the mobile game, why not wait to announce D3 for Switch? That part doesn’t make sense to me.

Checked it out. Looks like maybe a good intro to playing sudoku. With just over 60 puzzles and nothing looking complex enough that I'd have to really think at 30+ levels deep... it's probably a pass for me even at ~$2. Still, for those that are new to the genre that want eased into it (or want to ease someone else into these type of logic puzzles)... it seems like money well spent.

The new mechanics in the final 30 levels (61-90) are some great, challenging mechanics that has some math stuff in it (> & =) and some other stuff in there. I also played without the green outlines, which helps.

When does the Black Friday Eshop sale usually go live? Any great deals last year?
There's no Black Friday sale, just a series of bigger things tend to go on sale throughout the week with a Cyber Deals sale in there. Here are the three main updates for that week last year:

Absolute Cluster**** they have dealt themselves...
Blizcon has a ton of time set aside for Diablo, at least thats what I saw a few weeks ago with the rumors of D4 or another D3 Expansion really started picking up steam. (but rumors squashed because of the Switch release, they did NOT want to take away from the Switch release by saying here's D3, and D4 is coming soon)
If they were banking on the mobile game being the big news for Diablo this year... oh it's BIG all right...
I'm assuming it's going to be a free download with micro transactions, so it will be downloaded a billion times JUST so people can downvote and trash the game on the respective app stores.
"Don't you guys have cell phones?" That comment was a huge slap in the face to the people there that booed the game, bad move.
I read somewhere that it's not fair to attack the Blizzard Devs on this, it's more Activision corporate fat cats going for the cash grab, which I do have to agree with... to a point.
If Blizzard would have made a huge D4 announcement for say 2020 and then said later, "hey we made this mobile game to help pass the time until D4 releases" I'd bet there would have been applause and not nearly the backlash they got.
And if Blizzard does have D4 or D3 expansion coming.. they need to announce it to take the heat off now.

If Blizzard extends a game from 2012 one more fucking time my head is going to explode.
As a fan of Blizzard in the 90s, lol.
Diablo 2 came out in 2000. Starcraft 1 came out in 1998. Warcraft 3 came out in 2002.
