Here's a few questions for everyone. My hobby is sweepstakes. I enter contests for an hour or so everyday, and I win enough to keep it exciting. I frequently come across sweeps that CAG members would be interested in, and I've posted a few here and there. Here's my questions:. Is it ok to post them here? If yes, would it be better to post them all in their own thread, or should I open a thread and put all of my contests in?

Post contest and sweepstakes referral links in your own referral thread in the referral section, otherwise post the non-referral link for people to enter. Just giving us your own referral link opens the floodgates for everyone else to post and advertise their referral links. Imagine the hundreds of posts we get from people who only share for better odds if we let everyone do what you did. Mods usually delete these threads to keep that in check.

Almost everyone posts the actual gleam giveaway link first, then underneath it puts their specific referral link so people have the option to sign up under them as a way of saying thanks.

Strange.  I've posted a few contests before and none have been deleted.  I've got a  couple posted right now, and no one is spamming referral links in the threads.  Is what you're saying official forum policy, or your opinion?

Forum policy. Notice the referral section at the top of the giveaways forum? Yup. Anything that benefits you from people using your personal link goes there.
