15% off Ebay coupon - Today (6/29) only - Min. $25 purchase

I haven't used EBay in years. Can these discounts be used with purchases paid for with EBay gift cards?

Because if you search "Nintendo Switch" the top options are from sellers that jacked their prices up to $314+. I thought I'd help people out and point them to the $299 option.

I was under the impression that sellers don't lose any money when ebay puts out these coupon codes - its all on ebay. Is that incorrect? Or are most sellers just greedy assholes?

Pretty much. If you usually sell for $300, people would buy at $255 (15% off). So you jack it up to $325, they get it for $277. They still feel like it's a deal and you made $25 more than you would have gotten a day ago.

They know people are more willing to buy those "hot" items when a coupon is released so they raise the price. That's why I jump on these as quickly as possible.

 
Picked up an Xbox One X for a little over $300 shipped.  Keep in mind that coupon seems to give you free shipping so it helps even more, I saved myself an extra $20 shipping as well.  

 
Sweet, grabbed a new ice maker for the fridge, Quest 64, and castlevania 64 CIB for 97 bucks :).
