can you use a bluetooth snes controller on these (without opening it up & modifying it)?

I actually didn't know that part. does that mean no wire-extender for the japanese version?
Yeah it's a no go. Reason being why the controllers are wired to the system is the original famicom was like that, also the controllers are also super small. Here's a side by side pic to show you (spoiler tags cause it's kind of big)

To my knowledge no, but it's really simple to so depending on the kit used. Just moving some the connector inputs, no soldering required, you can still leave the stock controllers intact to the system and can be easily undone.

How did you even know how to order? Is there an option I'm not seeing to translate this?
Idk about iOS but Android Amazon app has a Country setting. I use it to shop amazon.jp and Amazon UK. Just click the hamburger button (yes, really) in the app and click on the American flag to change it to Japan with English language.

Amazon japan actually has built in english options, click the little globe that says JP above it and you can switch the site to English, wish every amazon regional site supported it

For the life of me I have no clue how I missed that all this time, but thank you. That will make all my Japan purchases so much easier!

That would be so cool is we start getting special edition themes for the various minis, just like the 3DS.
I disagree. Special skins i'm fine with (although i think it ruins the point of these things), but special games i'm definitely not for. Now these poor people in japan are going to have about 60 NES games, but on 2 different devices. Nintendo really should've been an expansion-slot and let people plug one in like it was a famicom cartridge

Luckily the smart japanese folks will be able to hack their console and just dual-boot both of these famicom classics

Famicom Mini = Nintendo Mini right?

I’m in Japan atm and been wondering what’s the difference since there are 3 versions of this Minis... can’t read Kanji.

Thanks Tyrok for the link.

Since the game is in Japanese, it’s not for me then. Even though this version has limited supply based on what I saw from the stocks of several shops here.

Sell them to weebs in the states who learned Kanji through anime. Bulletproof idea if they're limited stock.
