AO video games?

Well I seen those ratings in gamepro and stuff Adult Only, but have never seen the Adult Only rating given to a game. DOA volleyball on the other hand is quite funny for a mature rating. Will the future have AO games?
 
No...no adult only game will ever be made for a console...a slew of them are on PC but theyre really dumb porn games...I dont know why you would want an adult only game...also no game would sell well enough to only adults...
 
There's no point in having an adult only rating. A game with adult only material won't bother getting rated by the esrb since it probably won't be sold through conventional retail. And chances are developers will push the M rating so far back that the AO won't need to exist anymore.

Sure there has been a few AO games released, They were released on the 3DO.
 
Kinda lame.

A porn game, when you think about it, would be pretty cheesy.

Yea but that one new game coming out i think its aclled the Guy game or the man game its like a triva game up to 4 ppl and alot of nudity in it i heard look out for a AO game.....also it isnt cartoon nudity its the real deal

You speak like you didn't mean adult films from the beginning, that's what I thought you were talking about originally, but it seems that there are actual porn games. I'm guessing they were like the one g-collections.com sells. I guess they saw the 3DO failing, so they tried to get a few more quick dollars by releasing some porn games and movies.
 
I know that in the mid-late 90's, there were a slew of interactive movie-style porn games (housemate in college collected the damned things, the little spankmonkey).

Don't remember if they were AO'd. I do remember that he ordered them all off the internet, so they might have avoided the rating by being a direct product.

For retail, the only game that I recall as being worthy of AO was Phantasmagoria II. Kind of surprising considering Sierra and Roberta William's past projects.

And of course there were the MegaTech games (eg. Dragon Knight), but that was more silly anime nudity than anything.
