Hi there fellow CAG-ers, and greetings from Canada!
So, to start, I have absolutely no experience with selling things online.
If any of you backed the Oddworld Book Kickstarter, you will know that one of the tiers came with individual Steam download codes for each Oddworld game (sadly no New n Tasty though
)
I already own Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath, so I really have no use for these codes.
I've never sold digital download codes before, I've only ever done giveaways i.e buying a Humble Nindie Bundle to do giveaways on GameFaqs, so I'm not sure how to go about doing this safely so I don't get screwed over.
I've considered both eBay and here, but what can one do to protect themselves from being cheated out of their stuff? What's to stop someone from downloading the code after you send it to them, and then to say "it says it has already been used" and not pay you? Does anyone here have any experience with this that they could help out? Which would be better/safer to sell on between eBay and here? Thanks in advance for any help
