Best Buy GCU for someone in another city on release day

My end goal is to gift Super Mario Party (comes out next Fri 10/5) to my sister in law, who lives 4 hrs away, and use my (still active) GCU. On release day of course. A road trip is likely out of the question so I'm assessing my options. Long day at work so making sure I'm not missing something obvious.

1 - Egift her a $50 gift card and have them purchase in store, giving cashier my phone #, thus benefitting from GCU.
2 - Buy on BB site and ship for free to her (but two days after release right?!?!?!)
3 - Buy on BB site and have her pickup at local store. They tend to ask for my ID for this method.

I'm leaning towards #1 but welcome any feedback, especially anyone who has had success.

When you order on the website you can choose someone else to pick it up.
