Dark Souls Remastered (Switch) Preorder - $29.49

Odd it's even $40 MSRP. PS4 and XB1 is $30 regularly so lines up with those. Thanks for the deal though. I'm getting the trilogy for the PS4 though. Mainly b/c it's going to be limited and I doubt we'll see a restock on it.

Decent deal for the game if you want to get it Day 1.  Even better than Best Buy's GCU price actually.

 
I bought my Switch back in March for this game to be released in May and now the hype is dead to me especially with RDR2 coming out a week later. That being said I caved and ordered a copy lol.
 
As someone who really enjoys the series and has played it on the PC / PS4 and then the beta / stress test on the switch I can tell you with confidence please save your money. The game felt like it was running in slow motion on the switch. It was ugly and it would only ruin the experience if you played it on the switch. If it's your only choice and you are dying to play then be my guest. I would rather play the Xbox 360 version with blight town slowdown over the switch version which the whole game is in slowdown mode.

Ew sad face. Well my PS3 copy still works great and there’s too many 100 hour games this month anyway.

Thanks for this. I’m sitting on $15 eshop credit burning a hole in my pocket and I was thinking of just waiting on this.

kinda thought this was common knowledge, especially since so many switch ports are by far the worst way to play any given game

The Necro class is pretty awesome, as well as seasons and all updates over the past few years. Definitely worth revisiting if you like dungeon crawlers.

But portable!

I honestly don't think I will pick up my pre-order for a number of reasons, but mainly because I have the 360 version and never play it. I like the series, but never loved it personally and own all of them and have beaten none. I am also sure the Switch version will go on sale pretty quickly too.

Target still has it for $29.49 ... but better hurry as they will also probably raise their price tomorrow once they see Walmart did.

I pre-ordered from them just now, as I don't think BB will match this price in time before it goes up.
