Banned from buying from GameStop?

I've read another thread talking about this kind of topic, but it was about trading games.

Right now, I'm having an issue on GameStop's app because I can't buy myself an Xbox gift code worth 20 bucks, using trade credit. I've already bought myself one, and now I'm having trouble buying another one because of an error that keeps coming up. I believe this is a ban for buying multiples of an item.

I'll quote the error here:
"The credit card billing information does not match the information on file at your financial insitution. Prior to placing an order, verify your billing information with your financial institution to ensure all information is accurate and up to date."

Does anyone know if this is a ban from buying things?

Is there a term in the legalese that says one can't buy multiples of an item?

After reading your comment I tried using the desktop website.

It still didn't work.
This is going to sound odd, but it might be the trade credit.. or just a transposed number/information.

I had a similar event earlier today, albeit at Best Buy
I traded in a few games, and tried to buy a PSN card, after multiple attempts, the employee informed me that they heard that the state was no longer allowing the purchase of pre-paid cards using gift cards anymore... (I never heard this, but I did hear Best Buy was going to disallow it as company policy)

Anyways, she couldn't get the transaction to go through, so I ordered the PSN card online through their site and it worked fine.

I know with GameStop, you can't use discounts or coupons on digital coupons, so maybe it could be a similar issue?

I've also had the error. Sometimes its an error in the site showing something is there. But really isn't, so its not allowed for purchased.
